I bought my mini split to help cool my garage come the summer heat. When I first set it up it worked great – but it was only 80 degrees outside.
Now that we are in the 90s the unit has stopped cooling completely and throws an error every time. I looked up the error and per the manual it only occurs when it’s too hot outside. Like seriously, what’s the point of a mini split for cooling if it stops working in the 90s.
I have tried contacting the manufacturer via their app, website and Amazon and have not heard back. I wouldn’t recommend this unit to anyone.

This thing rocks, I installed mine late October 2023 and it’s been chugging along ever since. Heating bills are down considerably and it runs so quietly. The smart home feature has worked flawlessly since day one but that can always change. Integrates with home assistant if that is something you do too. Overall its a fun project to install if you like DIY stuff, and it really cuts down on bills. Win / Win

This was best investment I’ve ever made. I put this on the wall on my porch that I’ve converted to a sun room. This extra space that I enclosed with plexiglass and wood and sealed with insulation stayed about 20 degrees different from out side. With a window unit and heaters. Now with the split unit it stays what ever temp I want it to be. The della split unit is so quite I have to put my ear on it to hear it run sometimes the out side unit is even quite. If you mount on outside wall that is a little thin and only a few inches thick it might give a little bit of a hum but so slight you have to want to hear it. Turbo cool or heat will cool or heat super fast. The remote is confusing really bad even with the instructions. No real video to watch on it and you can not out it on auto and set a temp. When you put it on auto which is what I use the most your temp is not settable. You can NOT set auto. Not even on the app. AUTO can not be set. I have not found anything anywhere that can tell me how to set auto. Otherwise this is perfect 👌 👍 🥰. I love it.

We have zero regrets! No wait, one. That we didn’t get them sooner! We (my husband, self and 19yr old son) work outside noon-8am several days a week in Texas. It doesn’t matter how low you set your AC unit it’s just never enough and it just runs it into the ground. We finally decided to pull the plug. In my 40 years I’ve never slept so good. It’s like hotel good but in your own bed!!! Install was super easy because I watched him do it, LOL. I kid. I’ll ask for his install input and update but seriously he installed all 4 (3 bedrooms and 1 living room) in 2 days. Probably wouldn’t have taken so long if he didn’t have to pour a pad for them but it was well worth it! Last pic is from the Nest. They were installed Friday. Compare usage from Sat & Sun to before we got them! Insane!!!

To be clear, I have not completed installation yet. I am doing it slowly because I think I will have to order more parts etc. and don’t want to stress.
But I wanted to give my impressions as I go along.
PRO:
– very sturdy materials and well built and clean looking.
– Arrived quickly
CONS:
– There really are NO instructions. What they provide does not make sense and goes out of sequence. There are vague references to electrical connections, but not how to find where to connect the cables! Hint: open up the blower unit, then open the panel to the right by undoing the one screw. There is no info on how to move the drain pipe.
AND NO template!!!!! Drilling a hole in your wall is guesswork! I’m pretty handy and still got it off a bit and the hole shows a bit under the wall unit.
– The website is “Powered by WordPress” which is concerning that they didn’t even edit that out! So it’s iffy if the company is legit and has any staying ower since they don’t have a proper website.
– I contacted support 4 days ago and still no reply.
– There is no way to register the unit for a warranty. In their drop down, spilt units aren’t even an option!!!
– The black unit I bought doesn’t even show as an option on their website!!
– The website contains NO usefull information…no manuals, downloads, only one line of text about the units.
– The lines are short, maybe 10 feet! So I am worried about placement of the compressor and will more than likely have to spend another $80 to buy new lines (so consider this when price comparing)
UPDATED: fully installed. Used YouTube plusn other resources to install. The hardest part: bending the tubing without pinching it! It was hard to get it all lined up nicely. And the length you can see, just fit.
The unit works great!! I can barely hear the inside unit when on low, and on high it’s still very quiet!! You can turn the display off as well to eliminate all light! The outside unit is so quiet that I thought it wasn’t working!! I actually had to go out and check it, haha.
The app is just a version of Smart Life, but if you want to use Amazon echo, you have to add the unit to Smart Life and it functions ok but there’s a lag on the app. Using the Della app, it worked perfectly very responsive. I emailed and asked about it but as seems to be the status quo, no reply from support. But it works great with Alexa, the remote is fine as well.
Overall I am very pleased with the unit!
