Very disappointed that this model cannot connect to WiFi so I cannot control by phone as I do with other Dyson purifiers I have. Otherwise, a good unit. I do like that I can tilt the unit to direct airflow higher or lower.
Acute Research 65 –
Purifier – This is a 360 range air intake purifier. I Saw it drop the sensor rating of 24 from frying food back to a 0 within an hour after cooking. The filters are round and does not seem to have a pre filter around it. I wonder if in the aftermarket you will be able to find ones that do. A pre-filter just allows for your HEPA’s to last longer.
Heater – This heater really cranks out the heat very quickly, was really surprised by just how quick it was able to do this. I am in Texas so I haven’t been able to run this as long as the fan, so I have not ran it for more than 10 minutes so far.
Fan – I have ran the fan + the purifier since I got the device. I have had it in the rotation mode at the level of 7 for most of the time that I have had it. The low settings really do not help much with the heat here, but with the combination of my wall AC, it helps to push the air around the room nicely. My room is 10×12 feet just for the record. It replaced a tower fan and pretty much is putting out the same output of air. I was worried it would put out less because of what I have heard about these types of systems.
Sensors – The sensor display of showing the particulates in the air is really nice, and good for a piece of mind to know whats around you. I am not an expert to know how good this system is compared to others out there, but its always good to investigate and make sure you know what your getting.
Not Connected to Internet – First I wasn’t liking that I could not connect it to my phone, but I got over that pretty quick with the usefulness of the remote that came with it. Also since this is only going to be for my bed room, I can’t see the need for it changing too much overtime. I also like the fact that there are even options now to keep things unconnected.
Overall its a very nice hot+cool system, everything seems to work as it should, though like I said I really really wish it had those Pre-Filters with it.

I had the Dyson heater/fan for years and when the heating element expired, I decided to replace it with the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Gen1 HP10. I use my purifier in my home office. Wherever I am so are my pets, two cats and 2 Basset Hounds. The Dyson Purifier is perfect for keeping the air at the perfect temperature plus making it smell fresh. It is a great investment!!!
