Heats by convection. I had it in a 15×18′ room – 9 foot ceilings. At low setting (assuming 750W) the room got comfortably warm within an hour. No “lost it” remote to have to worry about – set the power, set the temp (via a dial) and leave it alone. You don’t get a digital temp gauge, but that is ok for the price. Not liable to tip over – pretty sturdy. Happy with the purchase overall.

I live in a very small space. I wanted a heater that could be placed out of the way and still heat the center of the room. I also wanted one with a thermostat that could be set. This heater does all that and heats up very quickly. When I first opened it I thought it did not have a fan. It has one to the side hidden. I believe it is like a paddle wheel type fan. It does circulate the air well. More over I can not get over how quickly it heats up. I turned it on and immediate felt the heat pump out. As an added bonus it is pretty silent when running. I am very happy with this space heater.

I used a radiator heater for years, because I wanted silence. But the thing was heavy, and I was always worried someone would knock it over, not to mention it took up a lot of space to store when not in use.
This heater solves all those problems. Because it’s light, when we don’t need it, I can pick it up and put it on a shelf or in a closet, stacked up.
It works, in my opinion, better than my radiator heater did, giving plenty of heat out and with a lot of options to customize as well. I would want to put this under my desk, but I think I would cook with this on, as tempting as that is in the wintertime, it will probably work best just to heat the room I’m in – especially placed under the window where most heat is lost.

I got this to heat my sunroof during the winter because it gets crazy cold. The physically quality could be better so I took off a star. But as soon as I hit the power button hot air came out, it heats INCREDIBLY fast and has a lot of options which I really appreciate. It’s a large heater but the shape makes it super nice to disperse heat and keep out of the way 👌
