Sounds like an airplane taking off in my living room, I wouldn’t buy this one again. It pops on and off all the time to adjust the temp a degree or so; annoying, but cold just the same.

I have been using it for 2 years, and never have any problem with it. My room is not too big, it’s like 690sq.ft. This air conditioner can cool down my room in a few minutes, it’s so efficient. The most important thing is the machine is so quiet. I heard many window ACs are really loud, but you never worry about the noise on this one. Basically, the user feeling is wonderful, I love this machine!

First 2 units came damaged, easy process to get replacements but annoying nonetheless. Easy install and runs great, when it wants too. On 90°+ days it will run for few hours strong and all the sudden it won’t blow cool air anymore until it cools off outside to 80° or lower. It is currently 90° outside and 85° in my condo. Would not reccomend.

Ordered two. One worked, the other didn’t. After a giant pain getting them installed, now have to decide if I want to take a chance on replacing the dud. Even the one that worked seemed to have a mind of its own. It would run for awhile and then shut down, no matter where the thermostat was set. Eventually (5-10 minutes?) it would come back to life, but not exactly confidence-inspiring.
Otherwise, I’d say it’s pretty quiet. The remote is nice, easy to decipher and use.
Overall, a mixed bag.

I ordered for the supplementary heat because its been cold at night in my apt. building. I had it installed, only to turn it on and it was not working [didn’t blow any air] so it had to be returned. Please ensure that units work before they are sent out, it’s a big inconvenience.
