We recently moved into a house in the mountains of Colorado, and most homes up here do not have a/c, including our house.
With the windows closed all day while at work, the temp was getting up to 75-77 during the later afternoon hours (outside temps have been about 80, but lots of direct sunlight on the front of the house and coming in through the upper windows).
When we get home, we open the windows and have the unit a foot or so in front of one. Even with only filling the unit with cold well water, it works great. Haven’t needed to try the freezer packs. Cools the living room/dining room/kitchen area down to 68 or so within 30-45 min. The oscillating function really helps to make it feel cooler in the area 10-15 feet out from the unit.
On it’s highest setting, it has about the same noise level as a regular box fan on high.
After two weeks of use, I took the back cover off to clean down inside the tank (pretty easy to do with only four screws to remove). Even with us using well water in it, there was only a very light film to clean in the bottom of the tank.
Super easy to roll the unit into the kitchen to fill from the sink sprayer.
I would definitely recommend this unit. So far, it’s been worth every penny.

Had to give 1 star or can’t post the review. Not really 1 star should be “0”….
This product is a complete waste of your money. I was attracted by the appearance and design, having use an outdoor evap cooler on my patio I was hoping this would be an upgrade. Complete waste of money after only 4 to 5 weeks the pump that sends water to the cooling pads on 3 sides of the unit quit pumping water which leave you with a very inefficient fan blowing hot air. Contacted the company and after they had me trouble shoot the problem by opening it up and video taping my removing examining the pump they then wanted me to wait for a part and for me to install it. When I refused and expressed my frustration they apologized and sent me a “new” unit. I received the new unit a few days later. Now about 2 weeks later it too no longer works because the pump stopped working. Don’t waste your time and money on this product. “New” one heading to the trash heap.

When I first got the AC I was shocked as to how big it was as I was expecting something the size of a garbage can. After un packing it and setting it up (which didn’t take long at all) I turned on the unit and was met with the coldest breeze I had felt all summer, I was very happy with it and then my landlord/friend pushed a button and the AC kicked in and the air got cold real quick. I have been using the AC in my room when I sleep and in my game room when I play VR or just want to play a game or enjoy a movie. This is the BEST thing I have ever gotten and in this heat right now with temperatures here in Alberta Canada almost in the mid 30s early 40s range…this is a godsend of a device.
I Do not regret purchasing and if I had more cash I would have bought a second one.
Easy to use and the big fan blows nice cold air outwards and the the huge reservoir tank keeps things cool for a good 5 hours or more.
Be aware this unit is not to be used in huge rooms as its not quite that strong to cool that room quickly, this unit is best used in a small room or bedroom or even a medium sized theater or game room.
Works best with ice packs and cold water from a bathtub run into a small sized pail or ice cream bucket.
Not certain how it would work outdoors at is does come with a garden hose attachment. Energy wise I will find out if this unit uses up a lot of electricity or not when the bill comes in that is one thing more people never talk about when doing a review.
Still a fantastic Portable AC that for the price asking is a good investment on a truly hot summer.

The product is really quite. I purchased one to try out in my shop for my employees to see how they liked it. The unit definitely cools the air. In the humid southern climate (South of Atlanta) it did cool the air and was better than a fan blowing hot air, the cooler air did make a difference. Employee put an ice pack in the top of the unit and changed it out at lunch. Now speaking of the ice packs. They are worthless as far as quality goes. People in other reviews complained about it and I didn’t think to much about it. However, after purchasing a total of 3 of these units within 3 days of each other every single ice pack for all three units has busted in the freezer after the 3rd or 4th time being froze. I am going to call the MFG and see what they say about it. I have other ice packs that I can use and will keep all 3 units.. But the reviews about the ice packs (they come with 2 each). (I got a total of 6 ice packs, and all but one has bust). all of them busted at different locations.

Although my air conditioner did not work well, the seller was responsive and took care of my issue promptly.

Living in Las Vegas, where temperatures soared to record highs of 114 degrees this year, finding effective cooling solutions for our large two-story home has been challenging. Traditional air conditioners alone couldn’t handle the heat without driving up our electricity bills. That’s when we discovered the Evaporative Cooler, VAGKRI 2100CFM Air Cooler, and it’s been everything we were looking for.
This cooler has been a lifesaver. Its powerful 2100CFM airflow and 120° oscillation feature ensure our entire home stays comfortably cool, from the living room to the upstairs bedrooms. What’s truly impressive is its ability to add moisture to the dry desert air. This has greatly improved our indoor air quality, making it easier to breathe and significantly enhancing our overall comfort.
The remote control and 24-hour timer add to its convenience, allowing us to adjust settings effortlessly and save energy by programming cooling times according to our schedule. Most importantly, using this evaporative cooler has slashed our electricity bill by nearly half compared to running our central AC constantly.
The Evaporative Cooler, VAGKRI 2100CFM Air Cooler, has exceeded our expectations. It effectively cools, adds moisture to improve air quality, saves on energy costs, and enhances overall comfort. For anyone living in a hot, dry climate like Las Vegas, I highly recommend this cooler as a cost-effective and efficient cooling solution.

The unit itself is great. Does exactly what it’s advertised to do! I usually have to fill it 1-2x a day depending on how hot it is and how high I have the fan, I also usually have the switch out ice packs a few times a day as well. It’s definitely not an ac but it does cool the air quite nicely. The only downfall are the ice packs, they’re essentially useless. Ice packs I had on hand cooled way better. Their ice packs broke after a week and only stayed frozen for maybe 30 minutes before I had to re freeze. I recommend the unit but I would definitely buy different ice packs to go with it.

What these swamp coolers really need is a function that keeps the water cool because as soon as the water warms up, this becomes pretty useless. It works fantastic when the water is cold, but you’ll likely run into the same problem I was in warm weather where the water gets too warm over time, even with the ice packs, and it begins to not work as well for cooling. What I suggest is this: if you will be using it for a long time like all day, don’t fill the tank all the way. Fill it half-way and then fill it again later on with cold water and a new cold ice pack. That way, you aren’t working with warm water the second half of the day.
That issue aside, this does work very well with cold water. It almost feels air-conditioner-cold at first. It has a powerful air flow, too. I do like it a lot, I just wish it had a feature that keeps water cool!
EDIT: A few days later, and both my ice packs split in the freezer, just like everyone else’s. Sort of ridiculous that they include such horrible ice packs with this machine. I ordered six of these ice packs in Mini size (three of them fit in the top reservoir perfectly so I got three extras to keep cool while the first three are in use so I can rotate them):
Igloo Performance Ice Blocks – Mini
. They last much longer than the ice packs that came with this machine! I highly recommend that you get them, too.
