ミストの状態などは良いのですが、床が水でビショビショになります。
水分を吸い取れる敷物の上に置くことを、お勧めします。
また油断すると本体に溜まったお水から生乾き臭が発生しますので、こまめな本体の水交換の必要が有ります。

I was searching for an electric insecticide fogger to kill attic flies and couldn’t find one with good reviews. I have a 2-cycle back back sprayer used for mosquitos but it was too large and too heavy to get it up our attic steps. So, I decided to try this device. The chemical I use is Bifen I/T (similar to Talstar). The instructions for this humidifier specifically caution against adding any chemicals. The quantity used was about 10 ml added directly to the water container. Using this humidifier in this manner worked very well in dramatically reducing the attic fly infestation and has not seemed to affect its operation.
This humidifier itself is very quiet. The water container holds over a gallon. It will last, on the maximum setting, about 1-1/2 days. The container has no handle and carrying it without spilling the water can be awkward. The container fills from its bottom. The top of the container is rounded, making it clumsy when standing it upside down.
Overall, this is an excellent humidifier. Understand that I have used it in manner for which it was not designed. Whether that will ultimately shorten its life or cause other problems, I don’t know.

Love it but the electric socket piece broke in one month.
So I returned it and I’ll buy another one.
It’s light weight
Not noisy at all.
Fits in any small place.
Love it

…to be the better choice. See photos.
Decent machine. I waited 5 months after purchase to rate.
Bottom feed water unit though I prefer top feed, holds about a gallon & 3/4.
Be Warned******
If you do purchase this unit—take great care NOT to over tighten the ‘top’ after you refill it with ‘wa-wa’ or you could most certainly regret it.
Though the top has ‘groves’ and such for ‘gripping’—it is a ‘shallow’ top making not much to grasp while turning. A few times I ‘literally’ had to wait till my husband got home…to remove it.
I yaint no weak chick neither but my little mitts was just not doing it.
If you have fat hands also that can worsen the problem.
Functionality.
It definitely helps with humidity and my sleep is NOT interrupted with ‘uncontrollable’ coughing and gasping for air due to dryness.
Major…MAJOR plus!
However, you’ll eventually find your mirrors and everything else coated in ‘white dust film’. It just dawned on me why every time I went to put my glasses on they looked as if they where…smeared with dried milk?! (For lack of better description).
Major…MAJOR minus.
I don’t know how to prevent this without spending money everyday on distilled water.
Typically, (provided I don’t run it on ‘high’) I can get 3 nights max out of the unit. On full. Not too bad. The lower the mist output the greater number of day/night usage between refills…of course.
Sound.
After about 3 months there is a noticeable ‘sound’ that’s now emitting once you turn it on. No matter the level but—as long as I keep it full, the sound does after about 5 minutes…taper off. Most times.
Humidifier’s are all for the most part…crappy. Nevertheless, for the price—this a decent, simple looking unit that does pop that humidity out nicely.
When I received this one, I took a picture with it besides the ‘nice-looking, digital, multi-function’ Homedics unit that I took back to Costco for a refund.
Reason being, even with the ‘issues’ I listed for this unit—IT (with it’s ‘basic’ & ‘lack of sexiness’), it has OUTLASTED (so far) the Homedics (see photo) WHICH cost me $80 or so bucks. I had the Homedics for 6 months.
I took it (Homedics) back because it got down to only functioning on 35% humidity. It ‘touted’ options of 35, 40, 45, 50 & 55% levels that were available to choose from. I literally loss a level of use per month.
And I kept that ‘Cadillac’…clean yet—it did not matter I used distilled water the first 4 1/2 months! That was the second unit as the first one didn’t use ANY past 35% straight out the box.
So yeah simple…is sometimes best over ‘gadgetry’ and looks.
So—all in all I like this unit.
It has kept me from waking up feeling as if I was about to die from violent coughing and lack of air.
Even with its little quirks. And oh…
It does have an ‘oil-diffuser’ to which—I have yet to use.
To clean it I add 3 tsp. of Citric Acid to 3 cups boiling water that has been cooled. I pour into the reservoir and let sit all day. You will see tons of ‘water scale floaties’. I take a little brush and brush the moving parts and ‘walls & crevices’.
Pour some in tank itself, swish and rinse.
“MAD Rater—Why you don’t take it apart and clean it”???
or—
“MAD Rater…you should’ve taken it apart. That’s the way to do it”!
To you I say…
“Ain’t nobody got time for that. You do you and Immo gwone and do…Me”.

We loved how easy it is to set up and use. It is very quiet, and most of all, it works! It keeps the air cool and when you are not using it, you realize how great it is, so you keep it on most of the time because it makes a huge difference in the quality of the moister in the air. We live in a dry and windy climate so this has been super great to have. It is easy to clean and we only have to add water every 3-4 days. After we did the research and tried a few, this is the one we found and did not have to return because we are very happy with the quality of this product and most of all, how it serves its purpose!

I have four of these, and they are very good humidifiers. Even with a whole house humidifier on one furnace our humidity levels in the house would drop to the 10% range during spans of cold weather when both gas furnaces were running often. This caused our wood floors to shrink, along with the dry itchy skin, and static electricity that happens with low humidity. Adding a another built-in humidifier on the second furnace isn’t an option due to the space where it’s installed. So, I initially bought three of these to place in different rooms. Running non-stop on high for a few days they raised the entire house humidity to the low 30% range, so I added a fourth one to the loft area over the great room. The house now averages between 35-50% humidity depending on how often the furnaces run, which is perfect. I can easily lower their output setting on the dial when less is needed.
When running on high I typically have to refill the 6 liter tanks twice a day, once in the morning, then before bed. On lower settings once a day is enough.
They are nearly silent. We don’t hear them running at all. No leaks, and the directional guide lets us set them to blow away from walls and furniture.
My only wish is that they could be filled from the top or had a handle to carry the tank. It can be awkward and cumbersome when the tank is full and trying to carry it from the sink to the unit. I typically have to hug it with both arms and it will get drops of water on my shirt, and then dribble on the floor when flipping it over to set on the unit. Top filling would have been ideal. I have to carry a hand towel with me when refilling to wipe up drops off the wood floors. But otherwise they have never leaked, the water is just from having to flip the tank over to set it in the base.
I do really like the LED lit water level window. It is very easy to see when they need to be refilled. I have not tried the tiny essential oil drawers, so no opinion there.
Overall, I am very happy with these. Quality was consistent across all four. They work. They fixed our humidity issue, and life is much better when you don’t want to claw the skin off your legs every day from dry air.
