Warning: Please learn from our scary experience. The leg on this fireplace melted and knocked over in the middle of the night, continuing to run and heat up the carpet. Fortunately the sound woke me up. I cringe thinking about what could have happened if I hadn’t. I do not recommend this product at all. It became a fire hazard in our home. The plastic parts do not appear to be safe.

I have been dying over this stove since I bought it for our son’s gf (girlfriend). It is a small little stove, so you can tuck it away when not in use and it doesn’t take up a ton of closet space. It puts out enough heat to make a pretty reasonable bedroom in a nice and toasty atmosphere and the “fake” flames/glow – well….that puts it over the top. We have these little fireplaces in our cabin in Maine – so when we arrive in the middle of winter, it usually takes a little time for the furnace to heat the entire place. No worries with this little baby. We all just start them up – walk away for an hour and the whole house is comfortable. No burn marks on the wood floors and they are quiet. As with any electric heater – just watch it. I don’t recommend leaving the house with this item operational – I approve both functionality and visually. My chi’s all fight over who is gonna hog the heat. Seriously…I waited until there was a coupon and purchased this at an “off time” and I couldn’t be happier. It is adorable! This is the best purchase I have made in years!! No joke. I’m in love. I live in the mother in law apartment above my parents garage..and the heat up here is pretty nonexistent. I had a dish heater but I didn’t like it. It was impossible to get the right temp, not to mention it was hideous to look at! One night I was thinking I wish I had a fireplace up here..so I went on amazon and exactly what I hoped existed..did. A space heater that looks like a fireplace. A fire makes a room so cozy, and this little fireplace is perfect. I’ve fallen asleep in front of it a few too many times, and always wake up sore and wishing I had been in a normal position. But thats a separate issue, the fireplace is just so relaxing! If you have a small area to heat, definitely consider this heater. I spent a couple months changing my mind about which one to get, and then it got colder and I picked this one and could not be happier. Everyone that has seen it loves it too..amazed at how well it works, and what a great deal it was! Also.. it’s easy to move If you want to heat a different area.

This little heater throws out the heat! Immediately! And whether you are just using the flame or the heat, is totally silent. I bought a more expensive model in White in the spring when my central unit died and I was buying a portable air-conditioner and wanted a heater on hand. It was the best choice at the time. Loved it, loved the flame effect. Still do! But the other model rattles when the heater is on. I know I can tinker with it and get the rattle to go away. But I thought that for $60 less there is no way this one would beat it. Wrong. It is again: TOTALLY SILENT, throws off way more heat, and the flame effect is actually more realistic, too! And I didn’t think that would be possible, either! I am so pleased!! I’ll say it again! The blower makes absolutely NO noise! So important for my daughter who works midnights and sleeps during the day and NEEDS quiet to do so!! It’s also beautiful! I have it plugged up with the flame on and am anxiously waiting for my daughter to awaken and see it in her room. I know she will say “I love it!”, too!! We live in a 16×70 mobile home (1120 sq. ft.) and going with zone cooling / heating was the right answer for us. My electric bill went down this summer after getting rid of the 25 year-old inefficient central unit. I’ve purchased 2 of the 400 sq ft. Infrared Electric fireplaces, one for each bedroom, and my Comfort Smart Jackson Infrared Stove will be here on Wednesday to go in the larger open living / kitchen / dining area. If it works as well as this little GMHome model does, we will have more than enough heat!! Why just buy a plain heater when you can have ambiance, too? Worth the investment and MUCH cheaper than a new Central Unit, so I can justify the fireplaces. Thank you Amazon for offering such wonderful choices for staying warm and cozy!

What a wonderful little heater! I spent a lot of time looking through options of different heaters. I wanted a small sized space heater that was really cute with a classical vintage look and that heated my desired area well. This heater warms my heart even when the heat isn’t on it makes me so happy to see it and changes the entire ambience of the room it is in. It heats very well and the logs and fire look convincingly authentic. To me the ONLY downside is that it does not have a remote control.
I wavered on purchasing it due to this one fact but loved the look of this little heater so much I finally decided I was going to purchase it anyway. I am glad I did.
Note to seller: If the buyer could find this exact product to buy but with an remote I think you would sell a lot more of them!
I am looking forward to many cozy winter nights to come enjoying the beautiful look and feel I get from my lovely heater.

Heater still wonderful works great my kids and granddaughter love to come in my room to “sit by the fire” and warm up. It keeps me very cozy and usually I only use the lower heat setting which heats up a 16’x16’ room very nicely the higher heat setting being too warm.
Everyday still I am so happy I bought this heater I love the vintage look and have it running even if I am using no heat for the ambieance which is wonderful.

So cute as well as functional! I sit with my feet in front if it every evening. I will say that heat only comes out at bottom section, so you have to put your feet quite close to that area if you want to feel and real heat. And to be hones, I have mine sitting up in some 4@ chicks underneath each leg so I can feel more direct heat. It will heat a room just fine, but if you are wanting to feel it on YOU, you’ll have to get close to the bottom. Even though the heat comes from the bottom, the floor underneath does not get hot. I have a rug under mine and it’s fine. That amazes me. The style is as cute as can be. I love mine.
