Suction works well. I can’t tell if it’s keeping my fridge scent-free as it normally doesn’t have a scent anyways.

This review is for the fridge deodorizer. I like the smell of it. Immediately, the scent reminds me of the Munchkin Arm & Hammer diaper pail fresheners. I stuck those in everything and they still have a fresh scent. I’m curious if this much larger freshener works as well.

This is cute but does not stick to anything. I have tried all the ways to get a plastic suction to work and no go.

I’m reviewing Purriko Fridge Deodorizer, Lasts for 10 Years, Green.
This fridge deodorizer uses ch-cut technology and claims to be more effective at removing gases and odors than activated charcoal or baking soda. So far it’s done a good job at keeping our fridge odor free. It’s supposed to last 10 years, but time will tell.
One of the things I like the best about it is that it has a suction cup, so can be placed on a wall of the fridge and doesn’t take up precious shelf space.
The esthetic is kind of vintage retro with the bright yellow green color and mushroom shape. Not my favorite, but it’s tucked out of the way in the fridge, so I care more about its effectiveness than its color and shape.
It can also be placed in a drawer, with shoes, toilet area of bathroom, or in a car. It’s suggested for clearing out smells from new items that may give off formaldehyde gasses. An area larger than a refrigerator may need more than one unit.
So far I’m happy with the results in my refrigerator.
As a side note, this Purriko Fridge Deodorizer is made in China.

This actually seems to work. The technology behind isn’t is still being further studied – I.e. the chemistry and its viability to be able to absorb odor for a very long timeframe is still being studied further. Regardless, this is an inconspicuous looking mushroom shaped device that needs to be simply placed in your refrigerator. That’s really it.
The premise is that the compound in the device will absorb odor and will last 10 years before it loses its effectiveness. That’s quite a claim. I’ve only been using the fridge deodorizer for a little over a couple of weeks but it seems to work. My fridge smells neutral when I open it. There is no real smell there.
Also assuming the science is sound, this definitely beats using baking soda and constantly having to replace it. There is also a suction cup built into the mushroom shape so that you could theoretically suction this to the side wall or something of the refrigerator and possibly out of the way. I opted to just keep the deodorizer sitting on the shelf as it takes up very little space.
People will definitely ask what it is as it looks funny. I don’t really care about that as long as it does its job.

I am very impressed with this little thing! I was hoping to eliminate some of the odors our fridge can get from having leftovers or fruit in it but this thing eliminated EVERYTHING! It was super easy to put in, it can go just about anywhere. It looks like a little mushroom, not big and it won’t get in the way. It has exceeded my expectations! No smells are coming from our fridge anymore it’s amazing! I’ve recommended this to everyone in my family!

This mushroom shaped fridge deodorizer is quite heavy and sturdy. Once I extracted it from its packaging (which had degraded a bit so I had to pretty much destroy it to get at the mushroom, I was able to pop it right in the fridge, using the suction cup to stick it at the back of my bottom fridge shelf, which has a weird lip and bottles that get pushed back there are always tipping over, so this little guy will block that as well. Our fridge generally only has odors if we put some strong smelling item in there, like meat rubbed for the grill or if a stray citrus fruit starts rotting and we don’t notice. It came with a little booklet but the print was light and small, so it was hard to read and didn’t look like it had much in the way of info or instructions. The listing says this will last 10 years. I’m not sure when or how you know it’s done though. I was thinking of writing the “expiration” date on it in Sharpie and still may do that. Nothing stinky to test it on at the moment, but we’ll leave it in there and see how it does. I did not realize it could be used for other applications. One area we often deal with the “smellies” is the kitchen trash. I may move it there if it seems unneeded in the fridge.

This deodorizer seems to work well at keeping the fridge smell free. That being said our fridge isn’t terribly old and doesn’t have any awful odors I’m trying to rid it of, more just to keep things fresh.
Not sure about the 10 year claims and am curious if its even been studied long enough to say that. Id love to see anything to substantiate this and looking it up just left me with more questions.
