M Aaron Taylor –
Nice for rental apartments. Make tenants responsible for hosing out and cleaning filters.
M Aaron Taylor –
This unit leaked Freon after 2 1/2 years and the manufacturer (Midea) refused to honor their written contract. Made to low standards in China.
Dan Gaffney –
My rating is extremely poor. The advertisement said it was adequate to heat and cool the square footage I have. Last night 11-09-2017, it was 30 degrees in Hickory, NC where I live. We used the heater for the first time. The unit brought the temperature to 42 degrees in the small building when set at the highest temperature possible, which is 86 degrees.
I called customer service for Garrison this morning and they told me it is not designed to heat, just supplemental heat.
I bought a $19.87 heater at Target and it heated the space to 70 degrees in about 30 minutes.
The Garrison unit was a poor choice and I wasted the money on it. Hopefully it will cool the space in the summer.
