Overall it’s a simple window AC that cools well. It’s a bit noisy but not out of the norm. It cools very well with air being at 40 degrees Fahrenheit coming out.
What’s cool about this unit?
It **screws** into your window sill, rather than simply resting against it. My window frame does not have a bottom rim, it’s just flat. The window closes down into a flat bottom.
This AC allowed me to screw/bolt it down to the actual window sill wood to train it on the bottom using L brackets which are INCLUDED (!!), and it rests against the closed window on top. This is EXACTLY what I wanted and needed.
VERY PLEASED with this unit!

Very loud!! I have it on eco & each time it turns on it sounds like a truck is starting up in my bedroom, I would return it but it is too hard to take out of the window & much too heavy to bring back.

I needed a very small unit to fit into a space already created for another AC that died on me … and this fit the bill. (I have huge old wood-frame windows in a brownstone, so having to create a new space with wood fill-in panels, etc., was not appealing.) Since we were just swapping in a new unit, I can’t speak too much about installation in general, but the included accordion side panels seemed like they would work well if needed. We used some white duct tape to cover the tiny openings left around edges between AC and the wood window frame.
Have only used it for one day, but it is off to a good start. It took a little while for truly cold air to come out, but once it started, it stayed nice and cool and cooled down a small living room area fairly quickly. I was not bothered by the noise that some have noted — seemed fairly par for the course with these types of window ACs, though if you focus on it, you will notice the slight “pinging” of the water on the condenser that’s noted as being “normal” in the instruction booklet. The remote is basic but does what it needs to do. The only slight annoyance for me is that the digital display shows only the set temp and not the room temp (at least in COOL mode — might be something that can be adjusted). I have not tried ECO mode yet, since I needed to cool my room off quickly after not having a working AC for a while.
Delivery was quick (2 days, sent via USPS), and unit was boxed well and arrived in good condition. The USPS driver brought it up my steep front stoop, which I was grateful for.
As I said, I have only had this for one day, but so far anyway, so good.
Update: On further use (and after having gotten over my initial excitement over simply having ANY working AC), I will agree that this unit is on the louder side, as far as window ACs in my experience go. Still nothing bad, though (just need to turn the TV up a few clicks), and I remain very happy with the purchase. It’s working wonderfully!

This is my 3rd summer in my camper (staying on a property we purchased and building a cabin soon) and my main a/c just can’t keep up despite all the measures I’ve taken to help it out. My son’s room only has one air vent and is always the warmest room and the air is always so stagnant in there. I thought a window unit would really help our situation.
Mounting a window unit in an rv window isn’t the easiest task so I enlisted the help of some family members and we got it up and running in an afternoon. Thank goodness because the next day a heat wave hit us like a ton of bricks. It’s not the most beautiful installation but it’s a window unit what can you really expect lol.
The last 2 summers the camper would be around 80 all day and my poor a/c would run constantly and freeze up. We just had a week of temps around 100 and my camper has been 72 consistently (in the living room/kitchen … which is now the hottest room) since installing this unit. I set the main a/c on 72 and this window unit on 65 during the day. During the day its set to eco mode and at night its on auto so that the sound is consistent. I really appreciate the digital controls so that I can set it to a specific temp and not have to fiddle with guessing what temp it’s set to.
I bought a fan to push the cold air in his room out into the living room/kitchen and its such a relief to feel that cool breeze coming through the door. I have a 32′ travel trailer with 2 slides and I don’t think that this a/c could cool the entire thing by itself but it’s definitely helping supplement the main a/c. They both kick off and on throughout the day instead of constantly running.
A lot of the reviews said that the unit is really loud but I think it’s pretty quiet for a window unit. My son is not a fan of sounds while he sleeps but he’s not complained one single time, so that’s saying something.
My only complaint is that some of the fins were bent up during shipping somehow but it’s not terrible. Overall this unit fits the bill perfectly and I think it’s going to be a game changer – it already has been and I think this heat wave will be the hottest of the summer so I’m thankful it came just in time.

Got this unit to replace a different Haier 6000 BTU. All things considered, we liked the old one better (but it took a tumble out the window … ouch!).
This unit is easy to install, but best left to someone young and strong. Works well and maintains even temperature, but it is noisier than the other Haier. The remote is a great convenience, as you can imagine. Would not have another AC without it. Overall, happy camper.
