I did research humidifiers before I bought this one. I must admit I was still uncertain before I started using it. But it is great. It is easy to fill, & holds enough to easily go through the night. It shows the room humidity, so I know when to shut it off. I usually only run it at night. I bought it because I have very dry eyes, & it seems like this is helping. I do have dry mouth, & I know it has helped with that. I am very happy with the Homvana, & would recommend it to family & friends.

After talking with customer service they determined that the one I received had a defective wifi card so they sent me a Warrenty replacement. The new one works great and I was able to connect to wifi and use the ap. Giving them 5 stars for amazing customer service and an awesome humidifier.
ORIGINAL REVIEW – 3 STARS
As a stand alone Humidifier it has plenty of options and works very well, that is what Im basing my overall rating. For the main reason why I picked this humidifier was for the wifi/app options, that’s where I would give this one to two stars. Here are my four points- 1. Without making any changes to my current wifi setup, this unit does not connect/work with the app. 2. With just the settings on the humidifier, I like the humidity levels and mist control. Gives you the flexibility to keep the levels at a number that you are comfortable with. 3. The heat options is a nice addition, you also can control the heat levels from mild to hot. 4. This is what I had to do to get my humidifier to connect to wifi. After trying for hours without modifying anything with my current wifi setup I moved the humidifier right next to my wifi router and finally got it to connect. For whatever reason, and why this wasn’t tested in QC but the range of the wifi is maybe around or under two feet. Not acceptable, thankfully I had a spare Eero unit that I was able to connect via wifi and placed it six inches away from the humidifier and haven’t had connection issues since then. Big picture, I don’t think everyone has spare Eero’s or wifi routers to place next the humidifier or move it close to where your wifi router is currently located just to make it connect to the app. As for the app, it has basic functions, scheduling, Alexa connections, etc. Noting to write home about, one setting I wish it had in scheduling is to set the humidity level. Overall if you can get the wifi to connect, great. But if that’s why you purchased it, I would have to give it a hard pass. If you are getting it for all of the options without the app, there are probably more cost effective options out there.

Best portable humidifier I’ve bought, and I have had many. Was a challenge to maintain RH abode 40% with a big wood stove operating before I bought these. Bought two on sale and just have to refill the 7 liter tanks twice a day (with humidifiers at max warm mist) to keep the living room comfy between 40-45 % with the stove going. Auto humidity feature is not very accurate and the humidity % LED readouts differ between the two side by side units by 3%. But they put a lot of moisture in the air and are quieter than other humidifiers I’ve had aside from a slight hiss when max warm mist is on. I use a small USB fan on low to distribute the mist better.

Der kühle Nebel ist ideal für den Sommer und sorgt für ein erfrischendes Raumklima, das an einen Besuch im Regenwald erinnert.

This Homvana smart humidifier is pretty smart – it has an intelligent option that can adjust the output of humidity based on your room size; It can detect when the container is empty or not, has a timer, auto mode, sleep function, mist level options, heating level and more. You can turn the display off at night because it is very bright. There’s no regular electronic sounds or beeping which is great.
It’s easy to use, plug it in, fill it up with preferably distilled water or at least filtered water, and touch the function you want.
The spout is actually 2 in one, and both rotate freely so you can have slightly different output aim.
It’s easy to wash as the pieces just lift apart and adult hands can easily fit in to clean all the crevices.
It has a retractable little tray for the essential oil pad, which recesses into the body. You open it by pressing on it like a button and it pops out. It comes with 4 essential oil pads in total. The only thing is, if you want to use more than 4 different types of essential oils, you may need to get more pads if you don’t want to reuse/mix the same pad with different oils.
The top lid has a little lip that makes it easy to lift off to service /check the inside.
Right when you press ON, it detects the humidity and displays it on the vibrant LED or LCD display. It will show a red water drop if you don’t have enough/any water in the tank.
It comes with 6 anti scale pads and 6 black sponge filters that are each reusable with cleaning. It comes with a little brush to clean the crevices in the tanks.
The power cord is about 4 ft long and the plug is just the dual prong without a ground prong so you can use this with most extension cords to reach where you need it in the room.
It is quiet in operation and takes a few minutes to get a good mist going, depending on the temperature of the water you pour into the tank.
It holds a lot of water in the tank and the pieces are not “secured” to each other – this is something to note for people who have small children and pets that could possibly tip it over, to not place it on the ground but on a table or something, at least.
It has 4 rubber “feet” pads on the bottom that give it awesome grip on hard surfaces.
The instruction manual is very clear and straight forward with clearly defined images that help with learning how to use the device quickly.
Overall, this is a good humidifier for a large room in an average sized house, and it works well. It looks sleek in design so I can see it suiting many different interior design styles and I haven’t had any issues with it after a few uses.

Displays 30% humidity and does not move up or down. Description says it should turn off once target humidity is reached. I bought a hygrometer separately and can see it goes way above my desired setting. I bought this specifically because I liked the idea of keeping track of the humidity in my room. Has been a headache guessing if it’s too high or too low. I’d look for another product.

Appears to be working as it is supposed to. Purchased based on advertised coverage area. I live in a dry area. Was looking to humidify 400+ sq ft enclosed area. Running at high mist and 2nd heat setting for 2 days. Normally my hygrometer runs 12-15%. It has peaked with this at 22%. Humidity on the humidifier has gone no higher than 33%. I have it set at 45. I find it hard to believe this will humidify a 700+ sq ft area as advertised.
Changed to 4 stars. Company contacted me, sent me a second humidifier , free of charge, feeling that this would help increase the coverage area of the humidifier. It did help increase it to an additional 5%. Although I am not sure it is worth it to run a second one, I would not hesitate to recommend that this is a quality product, and the company’s customer service is beyond anything I have experienced.

So I decided to spend a little bit more money this time on a better quality and I’m so glad I did. This thing has a big tank and so many great settings and I love the quiet bubbly noise it makes.

Our town has a relatively dry climate; the average humidity for the entire year is right around 60%, in the spring and summer months it sits in the low 40’s. Our house generally has a humidity about twenty points lower than what it is outside with many days feeling very dry. When we replaced our old furnace, our built in humidifier went with it; if we want to moisten the air, we now need to depend on humidifiers such as this.
This unit is perfect; it has a large 7 litre water tank that doesn’t require constant refilling and it has lots of useful features. The most important of these is the ability to choose between a cool mist and a warm mist. The simplest option is to set the humidifier for Auto Mode; based on the readings it takes (temperature, room size, existing humidity), the machine will select the type of mist (cool or warm) and optimal relative humidity for the space, and proceed to reach and maintain those levels. Of course, you can also manually choose which type of mist you want the device to produce. Generally speaking, we use a warm mist in winter and a cool mist in spring and summer. If my allergies are bothering me for any reason, I find that the cool mist brings more relief than the warm. When the grandkids are visiting, we also stick to the cool mist format simply for safety reasons. One of the more interesting options offered by this unit is the ability to add essential oils to a small port (the “aroma box’) near the base of the machine for subsequent dispersal.
The panel on the front of the machine allows for precise control of your options. Besides on/off and auto mode buttons you can choose the level of heating you wish (miid, warm, hot, off), the humidity level (40% to 80% in 5% increments), the mist level (low, medium, high), and whether you want the display on or off, sleep mode on (quiet operation, cool mist, display off), or the timer set (2-12 hours in 2 hour increments). In the centre of the control panel is a display outlining the current settings and readings (including relative humidity). The controls are easily visible, intuitive, and easy to use. The unit has a memory function so it will even remember the cool and warm mist levels that you used previously when you tap the On/Off button. The instruction manual which accompanies the product outlines all the functions in great detail and is well illustrated.
An online app is available for the device allowing you to control it from you smart device. In addition to the controls available on the machine, it allows you to set timers and schedules, monitor the humidity level of your residence, and use third party voice control with devices such as Amazon’s Alexa.
Like all humidifiers, this one recommends using distilled water. We use tap water although this necessitates cleaning the unit more often.
This unit is very well designed; it is easy to fill, easy to operate, and, for the amount of water it can hold, doesn’t occupy a lot of space. It operates with a minimum of noise and comes with extra aroma pads, anti-scale pads, and sponge filters so that replacements will not be required for some time. The ability to choose between a warm or cool mist and to customize the machines operation to your own liking makes it a real winner! Highly recommended!
