- Indoor/Outdoor evaporative air cooler or swamp cooler ideal for use in hot, dry areas like the Southwest and Midwest United States; performs best when humidity levels are below 60%
- Weather resistant for outdoor use, super low power consumption (288 W), powerful 806 CFM airflow ideal for spot cooling small to medium indoor and outdoor spaces such as living room, patio/BBQ area, garage, deck, or bedroom
- Carbon dust air filter, remote control, low water alarm, energy-saving timer, adjustable humidification dial, ice compartment, and detachable tank for easy maintenance
- Moist, cool breeze can cool you down & unit can be used as humidification during winter months

Got these to run in bedrooms so I wouldn’t have to run the AC all day on central CA.
One of these units will work in a larger room so long as you don’t expect it to go immediately from
90 to 70.
Fan is loud even in the lowest setting but it does cool well.
Takes a good bit to fill up the water tank – a good 2-3 gallons. Running on high the tank will only last about 4 hours. On low closer to 10. Depending a lot on your temps and humidity.
Easy to cart around, easy to fill (with a big pitcher or bucket). The ice tray is useless, the ice melts in about 2 minutes and doesn’t have any effect on temp really — maybe if you filled the entire reservoir with ice.
Entire unit is plastic and lightweight. Doesn’t feel too flimsy though

I live in an adobe house at 7200 feet above sea level on the high desert in the southern Rocky Mountains, a few miles south of the New Mexico/Colorado state line. This has been a hot, dry summer so far so we decided to get another portable swamp cooler. The high has been 95 degrees with 5% humidity, perfect for a swamp cooler. Most days aren’t that hot and humidity may be 10% by the hot afternoon. This particular swamp cooler is loud, but that is no surprise. I’ve never been around one that wasn’t loud. I like it because it has large water capacity and puts out a lot of cool air. It cools our large great room in just a few minutes. Additionally, our Heelers love to plop down in front of the swamp coolers on hot afternoons and they gave a big paw up to this one. I couldn’t be happier. If I needed another such product I would buy this one again.

This is a big honking piece of machinery! It’s pretty useless for cooling, though. It does NOT cool a room. It cools a PERSON. If I’d known that I would not have bought it. I need to do stuff in my house, not just sit in front of the cooler. I need the room cooled. If I was going to buy another, I’d get a smaller version, because bigger is not better in this case. I measured the area I wanted cooled and bought the size I thought I needed, but since it cools a person and not the room, it really doesn’t matter. The air is forceful, like a fan on high, even on the lowest setting it blows papers and light objects around, and it is loud! It would be difficult to sleep with it on. It’s awkward to roll around if it’s full of water, but at least it is somewhat portable. Also, you have to open a window to use the cooling feature. So hot air comes in the house, which kind of defeats the purpose. I don’t know if it can be used outdoors, but that would probably be ideal for people who like to sit outside when it’s hot.

I used to have an old style swamp cooler for my back porch. Other than spitting water, it worked perfectly. This blows HOT air 99% of the time. The only time it blows cold air is when it’s cold outside. I put the ice in the top and even an ice pack in the bottom to chill that water. Nothing. All I can imagine is that the pad is not getting wet, but because the way this is built it’s hard to tell.

In the right conditions provides powerful cooling air. Unfortunately its lowest setting is quite a breeze and pretty loud. I feel like there could have been room for a setting lower especially if you just need a little cooling help to sleep. Also the front caster wheels are stuck making maneuvering a little difficult. Took a few good kicks and it’s a little better.

5 stars generally. This is a well designed EC. I give 4 stars for noise (it would be great to have one more level –another lower setting which is even quieter), and 4 stars for ease of use because the timer function was clearly made by engineers for engineers… or at least those who can recognize digital constraints of uC and component costs. Would be great to have the ability to set for 8 hours, and to have an LCD display, or seven-seg.

I live in southern California and we don’t have that much humidity, especially when those hot, dry Santa Ana winds blow. I turned my garage into a man cave but in the summer it gets unbearable. I did research into possible remedies and found this top of the line Honeywell Air Cooler to be the perfect solution. It does not have an AC compressor so there are no huge electricity bills. Instead it uses a pump to circulate water in its system to supply a powerful stream of cool, moist air. One tank of easily filled water lasts for hours. You can also run it just as a fan to circulate the air at three different speeds. It even has a timer and a remote. I chose the model for my needs but they also offer smaller or larger versions for different size areas. I probably won’t use it on the patio but it is rated for outdoor use. I would highly recommend this product!

The worst customer service for return this ever in my entire life!!! I would not even bother dealing with this company as they are in my opinion totally unreasonable! I reached out 7 days before the return policy was going to expire on this $700+ unit that didn’t work anyways to see if I could return it. They relied that they would accept the return. I spent several day making sure that it was packaged properly in a very secure box etc to be returned via FEDX and the unit was finally shipped on Aug 13th 2021. They gave me a message saying that they could not take it because it was 1 day over the 30 day policy and that they could not take it because of that. I bought another unit from “Brand-O-Beat” and went over their 30 day policy and they were totally ok with accepting my return because of the delay in ensuring safe packaging and shipping.

Renting a house in Denver with no AC. Bought this to use in the living room & the wheels make it easy to move into the bedroom. It’s perfect for me and my bf, along with our 2 dogs(lab & chihuahua). Able to fill water tank then run it though the night without the water low alarm going off. It’s a bit louder than I expected however this is my first time using one and I’m not sure if the loudness is normal. Been just using water, no ice yet but it blows cool air especially with the record highs we’ve been experiencing this summer 2021. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know, it works and is worth the price.
