We received it as promised and unpacked it immediately. No assembly required. Plug in, add water, and set the operating parameters that you want. It is quiet and all the attention it needs is to add water to the tank when it needs it. It has been running 24 hours a day ever since we received it. No problems. We are using it with soft water and expect no water scaling to the unit. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who is in need of a large area humidifier.

*UPDATE* THE SELLER OFFERED TO REPLACE THE PART THAT STOPPED WORKING, IT IS SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE TOMORROW.
At first setup the unit seems good but here it is not even three months since I received it and it no longer pumps humidity into the air. The display works and I can still change the settings but the only thing that changes when you adjust the settings are the numbers/ letters in the display. The small circular area that used to make the water bubble and turn into vapor no longer works. Very disappointing!
