I purchased this unit in 2021 and have enjoyed it until recently. It removes odors as it says it will and smells fresh. This year it started shutting itself off after running for a few minutes. I suppose I got my money’s worth, but I won’t buy this brand again.

Over the years I have worn out two of the older models so I was sure of what I wanted in a machine. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like adding a filter and a timer to the unit when I ordered it, but after using it the first afternoon when it arrived I’ve since wondered how I made it all those years without those features. I feel sure this unit will run for as many years as the first two did combined simply because it doesn’t have to run all the time and with the filters it will stop the sticky cruddy buildup that killed my older models.

Whats to like everything what’s to dislike like nothing.
Searched and searched for a machine that would actually ionize as apparently big brother decided it wasn’t good for you.
Thankfully, I found this one it works wonderfully cleans. The smells out of the air quickly, and it is completely adjustable.
The only thing I might do is not pay the extra money for it to be so pretty however, it is really gorgeous

Bought this to get rid of some smoke smells (bought a house that a heavy smoker had lived in). It works, plain and simple. One room we had to do twice (once on low, next on high) due to the concentration of the odor. After the second round, no more smells. Very glad we got this one.
CAUTION: Do not leave any living animals of any kind, including any annoying in-laws, inside while this runs and for a while after you open the doors and windows when it’s done its thing (don’t know about plants, but I’d take them outside to be safe). My computer, TVs, etc were fine during the running but animals may not fare so well.

This lasted only a few months before the fan stopped working. The company replaced it since it was under warranty. The replacement was covered only by the original one-year warranty. The fan stopped working on the second unit after a few months. This model is lightweight, convenient to use, and eliminates odors, but unfortunately it’s of very poor quality.

UPDATE 11/2022: It stopped running, had to jump thru hoops, for the seller, before he would open a warranty claim. Once he opened it, I had to ck back with him in 5 business days to get a tracking # from FedEx. Once i tracked the unit, it is sitting at a FedEx place in Lebanon Ohio, which is about 30-40 miles away from me. They are holding it because they needed more info from the SENDER!! I sent the message to Samuel, a couple days later he emailed me and said I had to contact FedEx. Very very poor customer service.

I have used Ivation air purifiers for several years now and have always been pleased with them.
This model is a bit smaller than the standard models, making it easier to move around and clean. However, it also is not as powerful as the regular models. As well, I was disappointed that it does not have an adjustable fan speed. I would also have liked it to have more than one ozone plate.
But it’s still a good product and works well. Just know that if you have multiple dogs or smokers, you might want to get the standard model.
