The media could not be loaded.
1) The pump has been off since yesterday (3rd January 2024)
2) Before that there was a dull humming sound when the system was turned on
3) Now the timer is on.. but bubbles are not seen in the water and the pump sound is not there
and the Manufacturer said they don’t give any warranty on this product

I deliberately bought this as a solution for use in very small spaces, so take this review in that spirit. I cannot say anything about how this would work in a larger space.
What I can say is that I needed to fill a gallon-size Ziploc bag with ozone in one case, and a 13-gallon garbage bag in another.
The first case was to de-stink a small electronic device that had been used for a long time in a space where copious crappy air freshener has been used. Due to the dense nature of the device – a Eurorack module – I couldn’t physically clean the air freshener residue off. The Ivation filled the gallon Ziploc bag in about 5 minutes. After sitting overnight in that atmosphere, the Eurorack module was effectively neutral smelling.
The second case was an insulated wool coat liner that had been doused in Febreze by its previous owner. I put the coat liner in a 13-gallon garbage bag, snaked one the Ivation’s included tubes into it, and sealed the top of the garbage bag around it with a rubber band to keep ozone from escaping. It took close to 20 minutes to get the garbage bag about 1/3 inflated with ozone. We let the sealed garbage bag sit around for a few days, just to be sure, and when we took the coat liner out, it was completely neutral smelling once we’d aired out the remaining ozone.
Though I haven’t tried it, the ability to use this for water purification seems super-cool.

Es una muy buena adquisición. Me ahorro ya el comprar botellones que son tan incómodos para acomodar en casa

Back from a trip, I have found that my refrigerator’s compressor has failed. Thus, all food in the refrigerator and freezer spoiled for what appeared to be several days. It was not a pretty scene.
The result was a bad odor. Bad. The refrigerator was cleaned and disinfected numerous times, yet the odor persisted. I purchased activated charcoal. Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). Fridge deodorizers. Put all of them at the same time. Vented the refrigerator. Cleaned and recleaned. Yet, the odor was resilient.
I came to a point wherein it was either (1) discarding the refrigerator; (2) deploying two plutonium cores, one at the freezer part, one at the refrigerator part; (3) using the closest thing to chemical warfare.
Option (2) proved difficult because a certain nation in Asia has been commandeering the plutonium market, and the supplier was low in stock. Plus, I got a bit of a pushback from neighbors after I disclosed this plan during an HOA meeting, worried that the resulting mushroom cloud could have an impact on property values (plus pets glowing in the dark could affect sleeping patterns of the owners). Next in the list, option (3).
What, then, could we use that is slightly less toxic than mustard gas? Perhaps a bit of hydrogen cyanide? Nah. Let’s try ozone.
Ozone has an odor that resembles freshness. It is a vital component of the atmospheric layer that protects us from deadly UV rays from the sun. Industry has given it pretty names such as “activated oxygen”, “energized oxygen”, pure air. But make no mistake: ozone is toxic. It can cause lung damage. It kills living things, destroying mucus and plants. Therefore, I needed ozone to kill my refrigerator and hopefully bring it back to life afterwards.
This ozone generator is simple to use. Plug it in, adjust the generation timer, and enable. The generator starts immediately (it is basically created by controlled sparks through oxygen) and produces a good amount of ozone, which I know because I am sufficiently of an idiot to test it by smelling the output of the machine. Using the supplied tubes, I inserted those tubes inside the refrigerator and freezer, in turns, and let the machine work for a few days. The spoil odor has been decreasing fast, even though it is still there. I presume I will continue using the generator for a few more weeks until I successfully kill the refrigerator. Or I perish from ozone poisoning, whichever comes first. If I survive, I see use for this machine in removing odor from other things, such as shoes, gym equipment, etc.
Stay away from the machine while it is on and until the ozone has decayed. This is serious.
Now, I want to give a special salute of honor to the editor of the machine’s instruction manual. The technical document is sprinkled with humor, the sort of sharp, sarcastic humor that one would expect from an engineer or technical writer. I approved of it, and I give it one extra star just because of it.

My Ivation Ozone generator is surprisingly strong, especially for the size and great price, so I do highly recommend it. I noticed that familiar fresh ozone scent, just like after it rains, and I enjoy that clean air. Just be aware that you shouldn’t breathe it in. I used to be a smoker and moved to an apartment building that doesn’t allow smoking anywhere. Since I no longer smoke, I noticed that odor my still lingered on my clothes and furniture. This unit has removed all those stubborn ordors without having to wash or dry clean all my clothes. That alone makes it worth it’s weight in gold.
To be as helpful as possible, I want to include things I didn’t like. The unit is bigger than I was picturing but matches the description, so my bad. It’s not whisper quiet either but you shouldn’t be around it when it’s running anyway. So a little noise may remind you not to run it while watching TV in the same area!
When it’s plugged in it flashes 00 in red continuously, regardless if you press the power button on or off. I’m guessing that’s a safety feature since I leave mine flat on the floor and our cat accidentally turned it on by stepping on the easy to use push (or tap) screen. So, if you leave it plugged in your bedroom at night, you may not like that red flashing light while going to sleep. Since I don’t need to use mine daily, it’s not a problem to simply turn off the zip strip or unplug it.
It comes with mounting kit but I use it flat so it’s easy to use anywhere. I’m finding more and more uses for it daily! There’s a lot of great tips in the directions too. There’s ideas on how to use the tubes with the black or white stones. I just haven’t gotten that far yet.
Be aware that you really need to air out the room you used it in before breathing in there. I already made that mistake and felt my lungs were not happy. It’s my own fault though because the directions warn you about this. Plus I was a long time smoker so I have COPD. My reaction isn’t likely to happen to you. Just keep yourself and your pets safe by staying out of any room being treated. (Turn off any fish tank filters while running the unit too.) Then simply let fresh air in when the unit is done.
I really like this machine and would definitely recommend it to a friend. This is my first review because I really like my unit and appreciate it when others take the time to help advise me when I buy stuff. I hope my review helps you!
