Very pleased with my purchase. There has been a very high blanket of smoke in our area, due to forest fires, and it has helped to provide me with a safer environment to retreat to as I am allergic to smoke and other environmental odors. It was used during our move to another apartment, and we disturbed a lot of dust. The machine appears to filter this dust very well. When on “automatic”, the speed variates depending on the need for cleaning the air. The lighted control on front indicates the quality of the air in the room. Very quiet. Filters are easy to access and replace when necessary. The purifier gives me a sense of safety and security that I am receiving clean air and is very suitable for our apartment size.

I’m on my 3rd day running this in my house and notice a very significant difference. The ever-present lingering odor of the litter box is completely gone. I’ve only run it on LOW speed so far and there was quite a noticable difference after just the first day.
The air quality indicator on the front is a fantastic tool which seems to work quite well, and the illuminated bottom of the unit is a nice touch. I like how the light is adjustable from off through 4 levels of brightness. It is VERY quiet and I can barely notice it running at all and sometimes put my hand on top of the unit to see if it’s actually running!
Great bang for the buck, and I can’t imagine anything being any more efficient than this one has been so far.

Okay, so, I have been looking and reading all I can about air purifiers for about 3 years now. I don’t think you can do much more research than that haha! With the ever so shaky economy and inflation the things I looked at were, The initial cost of the purifier, the long term cost of maintaining replacement filters. Then I looked at the best fit for my needs, pets, kids, allergies and asthma. Also square footage of my home and the purifiers ability to do its job. I.E would I need multiple. After looking at air purifiers for 3 years I decided it’s time! We live in a small OLD! Farmhouse in the middle of no man’s land. We have central heat but not A/C in the summer the house gets a musky smell sometimes due to window units. In the winter it gets dry and and with all the pets and 2 kids in a 750Sqft home it still will have a not so pleasant smell. It also gets SOOOO dusty because the home is so old! My allergies since buying our farm home 4 years ago have taken its toll on me! This is when I started looking into the purifiers. I was tossing box fans almost on a monthly bases because of the accumulation of dust on them. ( NOT! Cost efficient) So i got on Amazon and started looking at all the hundreds of purifiers in my list to decide on 3! I wanted one in each bedroom and one in the living room. My luck they were having a sale on most of the ones I was looking at so I knew I was finally going to take the plunge and invest in them! I got 3 and 3 different ones. I LOVE! This one! I decided on this one for many reasons it fit all my needs. And the added bonus was the night light on the bottom! This one was going in my kids room who has recently decided they need a night light at night! So I love that! Don’t be intimidated by the small size. ( I was) I was not sure it could keep up it rates for over 1,000sqf but I was skeptical. This is a little mean purifying machine!!! It does a FANTASTIC! Job! My home since getting air purifiers has smelled so much better and I have had considerably LESS DUST and PET HAIR! My allergies do not even near as bad! I noticed it most when waking up in the morning! My eyes are not swollen my I can breath my husband snores less and I’m sleeping better all around. This on again is in my kids room they have said they love it and helps them sleep at night as well. It’s very quite on settings 1-3 settings 4-5 are about as loud as a box fan on 2 or maybe even 3. The filters if you buy in pairs of 4 are cheaper then buying just two at a time so I like that this was a worthy investment! You won’t be sorry!

My local area accumulates a LOT of dust and pollution due to the neighboring traffic and was making me sneeze. I had to take action and get more than a fan, I wanted my room as dust free as possible. So I researched a LOT of other Air Purifiers and looked at many other popular brands for a bedroom/small living room area of 10×20 feet. I got this one on Black Friday and it was a steal and checked all the boxes, but even at reg. price its worth it! I didnt expect this compact machine to perform so well and yet be so quietly efficient. Yet there has been a drastic 95% reduction in the dust in the room. The filters are 1 inch thick with quality charcoal and microscreen over the HEPA surrounded by metal frame, durable and long lasting. Still have 2 out of 5 bars left after 6 months of constant running!
2. Not 3 or 4 or even 5, but 6 Fan Speeds! (More speeds is better with Ultra Quiet Sleep Mode 23db for light Sleepers!). Most low-mid price air purifiers are either noisey air blowers or only have 3-4 fan speeds (including the sleep mode). This one actually has 6 fan speeds for the ultimate in fan/noise choice, 1-5 on Auto or Manual, and Ultra-Quiet SLEEP mode which you can barely hear at 23db which is the lowest I found at the time. Most people who like “white noise” would probably like level 1 or 2 or even 3 for sleeping. I like the Sleep mode which shuts off all the lights and purrs quieter than a kitten 😄
3. PM 2.5 Sensor! (Measures your air quality in real time, based on US High STANDARDS *not others)
This is a Game-changer feature! This sealed the deal for me as this is a usually a high-end feature only found in much larger pricier size air purifiers for the whole house, etc $$$. The fact it has a PM 2.5 sensor AND its ACCURATE based on the US air quality stricter standards (not Chinas standard like many others). The Jafanda air purifiers are designed in Germany, smart engineers and used the stricter US Standard with 4 color and # levels, so Green really means Excellent! A lesser machine will register Green when its really in the Yellow zone. You can verify this by looking at the pics of the zone colors and PM #s in other purifiers and reading the manuals, learning about the standards like I did. 👉For example how sensitive this machine is, if I blow a vape pen 10 feet away from the purifier within a minute it will notice the change in air quality going into the Blue or Yellow zone, and kick in the fan to purify the air FAST before turning back to Green in a few minutes! A cigarette puff will send it to the Red zone immediately and it kicks the fan speed up to 5 for turbo purifying bringing it back to Green in a several minutes…Amazing! 👍 This feature makes your air purifier Smart vs. dumb. Not the Wifi…
4. Low EMFs for electro sensitive or health conscious people (NO Wifi = Good, not bad). Speaking of Wifi as thats the only thing missing from this and THANKFULLY SO, as anything with WiFi just adds a crazy amount of EMF noise pollution to your environment even if turned off. Less is better as studies have shown its not good for your health despite what cell phone company paid studies tell us and people that are sensitive to EMFs KNOW this affects them bad (its like being under noisey powerlines). NOT having a Wifi remote of turning the purifier on or off, is totally unecessary as you usually want it on anyways, just change the speed when sleeping. I’m not going to say the levels are 0, but I have a high quality EMF reader and this device tested very low and wont register RFs as long as its at least 4 ft away from your head.
5. Compact, yet High Quality and functional with a 3 level night light ala Apple-like. This is a total unexpected bonus, but handy at night if watching a movie without having another table/desk light on. *Only wish it could be turned on in Sleep mode if needed.
6. Designed in Germany. US based office. As close to made in USA as we may get?
7. All the Certifications for a low power, energy efficient and Allergy approved HQ Air Purifier!

It’s only been two days, but I like everything about this air purifier. It’s got a nice, modern design and streamlined controls, even a mood light. On the front is an air quality display that also includes the filter life, a feature I really enjoy.
The filters themselves were a breeze to install, and it’s really only kind of loud on it’s highest setting.
When I purchased, there was a $55 off voucher which just sweetened the deal and brought it under $100.
Even at full price, I would say it’s worth it.

This JAFANDA , JF 888 large room air purifier is Very Powerful! Within 20 minutes I noticed a significant improvement in the air quality of my bedroom.
I now leave it in the middle of my kitchen and it takes care of the whole apartment. It is Very Quiet! Sounds like a summer breeze.
I suffer from severe asthma and this purifier really improves my indoor air quality.

This cleans the air really well, I have to vacuum out the filters more frequently than my old unit, but the downside is this unit is fairly audible even at fan setting 1, and on sleep mode the fan can whine at times.
That said, if you need to purify the air in a hurry somewhere, this is a great option.
