This heater has been a lifesaver. The igniter only worked a few time, but we use bbq lighter that lights it fine(YouTube video just in case)We live in a very old house that doesn’t stay very warm. We had insulation installed, but you guessed it.. it was installed wrong. .. House is about1800 square feet. With this heater and our smaller one we stay toasty. We let run 35 to 45 minutes each time just to be safe—-We’ve never had problem with carbon monoxide, but are always cautious. Ventilation, give breaks, & purchase carbon monoxide detectors.
Ps.. our dogs love them too. Lay in front of them, like a fireplace.

Liked everything about it. Warms my 24 x22 metal shop! Very comfortable!

Fairly straightforward to assemble, directions were clear. We had a cold snap and my furnace has been on the fritz so I couldn’t trust it and bought one of these. Sure enough, coldest night of the year furnace finally dies. Popped this thing into the middle of my living room and it’s been toasty warm. You can smell the kerosene but it’s not bad. I’ll put up with it for the comfort. I’m very glad I bought this. Once I get my furnace replaced this is going to heat up my workshop. Only problem is, I might need to open a window to prevent the shop from getting too warm. It seems to burn through about a gallon of kerosene every 16 hours or so at the setting I’m on… pretty efficient in my book.
I don’t think I’d want it for my primary heat source, as it does create some hotspots in your house (convection heat needs to be circulated)… but if you want an off-grid option that you can use in case of a heating crisis (no power, broken furnace, etc.) this is fantastic. Really happy with this purchase.

This kerosene heater is a replacement for an identical one we had for over 20 years. It is a bit smaller than the original, but not by much. Starts easily with just a button. Closes and turns off just as easily. Great value for the money. Very quiet, no smell when wick is clean. Not lightweight, cheap metal.

I’ve been using these heaters for years. They work great, but you have to take care of them and keep them clean!

I truly enjoy using this heater. This kerosene heater is essentially the same excellent design of the KeroSun heater that I had used in the 80’s. It’s easy to assemble, easy to operate, and keeps my family toasty warm on chilly days. We are using it in our Tumbleweed trailer while we build our permanent house. It doesn’t take up much space but will heat the entire 8 x 24 ft trailer with sleeping loft. My only regret is that the price of kerosene is so high that we will be installing a wood-burning stove soon as the main heat source. But this does not mean that we will discontinue use of the kerosene heater. It’s portability makes it a very practical heat source for the workshop (where it can be moved to whichever specific work area is currently in use). I highly recommend the Kero World kerosene heater for quality construction, zero problems, ease of use, high heat output, and portability.

Kerosene heater arrived on schedule, well packaged, and undamaged. Unit is well constructed with quality materials and a beautiful finish. Assembly instructions well written allowing for an easy assembly. Operating instructions are well written with adequate details. The only issue I experienced was its suitability for intended use by my older sister which I will explain.
The order came directly to me for checkout so that I could explain in-person how to operate as part of my hand-off to her.
My sister is well into her 80’s, limited mobility, lives alone, away from family, in an all-electric house in a small town in Kansas. This issue I discovered was her ability to safely lift the heater which is almost 34 pounds when fueled. I quickly concluded that she would not be able to lift and handle that amount of weight safely. I subsequently emailed the seller (via the Amazon service) of my concern. Seller’s response arrived the very next morning, accepting my reason for return, with no questions asked.
Overall I give the seller high marks, both for the service as well as the product being of high quality, exceeding my expectations. Having discovered the weight problem, I stopped short of actually using the product as a heater. In retrospect, I should have paid more attention to my sister’s physical limitations before I ordered the heater.
Had I been the intended user, I feel I would have been 100 percent completely satisfied.

This was my first kerosene heater. I have 1300 sq. ft. to heat, it is going to take more heaters.
How much fuel to store, and how. Get a fuel transfer pump.
If you are thinking off-grid, go oil heat.

The heater works great. The only down side is that the automatic start does not work even when placing batteries in it. Other than that works great!
