My central a/c was not cooling adequately, within 30 minutes, the room was cool, I no longer use the central unit. It’s quiet, thermostat works perfectly.

I ordered this unit quite a while ago. It’s been sitting in the box until I could have someone install it. It is heavy and I am disabled. First of the bottom side of box was broken. Didn’t look like it affected anything. I was present the whole time it was opened and installed. The right side of the instrument panel was broken just a clip. He said it shouldn’t affect anything so I went ahead with it but when I went to clean the filter, the whole instrument panel is not connected to the unit. Therefore it wants to fall out when you open to clean your filter. it looks as if two screws were not attached to it. I am 58 and disabled. I do not know about such things and because the person that I had install it never looked at it we had no idea! As far as working? The unit doesn’t get very warm it Has to be set almost at 75 in order just to feel any warms in a very small area about 450 ft.² to be exact? Then it doesn’t want to shut off once it starts running. I have to shut it off and on through the remote? Overall paid over $500 for this unit it is installed. I cannot do anything with it but I do want to warn people it is not as they say, and I’m very very upset with this purchase I’m afraid to see what it’s going to do when the weather turns warm will it work as an air conditioner? Or is it just gonna blow air? Very, very dissatisfied

This unit is alot louder than expected, it’s in the living room and had to turn it off to watch TV.
Doesn’t cool as much area as expected either.
Didn’t try out the heat function so can’t rate that.
Remote works great.

keeps my small house pretty toasty. when in heater auto mode….when it’s about to shut off it goes into almost an AC mode? i guess it needs to cool down before shut off. But, it doesn’t seem affect to overall warmth in the long run.
Nice unit, & the heater actually works. I bought an 8000 BTU unit for my bed room….but heater NEVER seemed to get warm?? It was like a fan blowing.

We bought this unit to replace the existing ac only unit in our house addition. It was fairly easy to install. We did have to replace the plug receptacle to accomodate the plug. Not a big deal, though. Overall, extremely happy with the purchase. The unit is easy to operate. It came with a remote,which is a bonus,because the description said there wasn’t one. the air is nice and cold and is sufficient for the 2 bedrooms and bathroom that it serves. Terrific for summer in Southern Mississippi. The unit is a little on the louder side, but not obnoxiusly noisy. I haven’t tried the heat yet, but for the price, that option was a bonus.

Purchased this window unit to put in our cabin in the mountains, during the summer months this unit has kept our little cabin comfortable while the temperature outside was in the high 90’s. This is an assume unit to own.
