It never cooled air at all. NOT FOR A MOMENT! The condenser never came on. Like some other reviewers, the fan and the remote control worked just fine. What an ordeal partly because my family installed the unit while I was on travel and they left the packing materials out in the rain. I had to find a box that would handle the return. Also, as others have commented, Keystone customer service was pretty much non-existent…..was advised that there weren’t any techs dedicated to customer technical problems. I wouldn’t ever be tempted by a Keystone product. Amazon should rethink carrying their products.

The compressor in the first one sent to me was DoA. Amazon was fast to pick up and replace with same model. This one cools just fine.
My two major gripes about this unit
1) The dry mode does not cool. It’s humid while warm, why isn’t both on like my split?
2) Does not come with sleeve, you have to buy seperately which is around $100. Walmart carries it. This unit is much shorter than similar models, making the sleeve necessary for install, it should come included!
I will update this as time passes, to see how long it runs well. From my personal experience and what others wrote I do not recommend.

Does not work, blows warm air and never cools down. Called company’s customer support and they told me to unplug it and restart it as if I hadn’t tried that . Then said nothing more they could do and to contact Amazon . I will be returning. Awful experience

Unit turned on but never cooled. Tried all the troubleshooting and even talked to Keystone rep for more advice but nothing worked. This was a huge hassle as it weighs so much I hired a kid to help me manhandle it. Then had to stay at home in order for Amazon to pick it up. Would not advise purchasing this as I see several others have had this problem. It’s not as easy as returning a shirt!!

After I hired maintenance workers to unpack and install the unit, it did not work as expected. Put on HIGH and hardly any air came out. These professionals told me this was junk. They had to re-pack it for me so that I can send it back. Hottest week of the year!

Was deliverd today told the amazon delivery people it looks pretty beat up. They turned and walked away before I could say anything else or check it further. I will check it to see if it works. If it works I’m still apprehensive it could stop working in the future due to the damage. It’s a big heavy item to repack and send back but I might have to. It’s frustrating to pay for an expensive item for to come in this condition.
