I’ve ysed this unit for about about a month in the middle of Missouri. For days above 40, this unit will crank out a ton of hot or cold air as appropriate (Missouri has insane weather). When holding your hand to the vent, the heat doesn’t seem too hot but it moves such an amount of air through the vent that it can effectively heat the room in just a few minutes. That being said, I really wish it would heat below 40°F. It seems the addition of a defrost feature would multiply the unit’s usefululness several fold.
I have a Toshiba window unit that seems well made, but this unit is in another class entirely. Everything is thick and heavy; it feels like a quality product.

Operates quietly. Isn’t too heavy. The controls are easy to use. It needs to be more prominent in the ad that the heating will not work below 41* f. Which tells me it’s a heat pump with no emergency heat bank. Fortunately that isn’t a huge issue for me but it might be for others who are expecting more from this moderately priced unit 👍. A/c works great a+. Heating aspect gets a B- design, use, appearance and ease of install A+

We live in the mountains where it is MOIST. Have you cooled moist air before? If you have, you understand why this is not so fun. This sucks the moisture right out. But not uncomfortably so. I can’t speak to how it would feel in dry environments. Noise is usually pretty quiet, we’ve been using it for about a month now. It only seems to get a little loud once in a while when it’s exceptionally hot. And by loud I mean, we hear it at all. We have it adjacent to the crib and it doesn’t seem to wake the baby. What’s nice is it pushes air up instead of straight out, which seems to make for more efficient cooling (cool air falling, creating a decent circulation.) It fit just fine in the window, but getting to to seal without outing nails in the wall was tricky. If the unit is ripped forward I got the room, that moisture it pull will come out that way. So make sure it is angled down and out of the house. It looks nice and blends into the room, very modern design. Cools quickly too despite being more energy efficient type. Can’t complain!!!

Bought for newly remolded detached 2 car garage. It kept the temp very comfortable last summer here in southeast VA. Electric bill did not go up very much. Maybe an extra 10 a month. Fit like a glove in the window. This past winter kept the temps at 60 even on days when the outside temp was in the 30’s. I recommend this unit. Especially since it’s 110v. Didn’t need to run a 220v line through newly finished drywall.

Would highly recommend

After 10months of use it stopped working. Reached out to the manufactor and they stated I did not buy a new unit through Amazon(it was brand new) AC is no longer cooling but 50% of the time and it’s the middle of August 110° last week. Amazon customer service is trying to help in the best way possible. We will see how it turns out

After giving keystone the chance to correct the air filter issue.( open gaps around filter and worst it along bottom as design will not allow filter to rest on bottom of unit leaving a gap big enough to allow excessive dust to bypass filter ) their help was useless.. They simply sent me a replacement filter that was the exact same as original. This unit is now getting louder after only 3 months and the casing is also twisting out of square.. Definitely not enough anything to keep it tightly assembled.. I have fixed the filter fix myself with a piece of foam weather strip along bottom but this will need replacing or at least cleaning from time to time as the designed installed angled filter creates most air to flow to the bottom section of the ac unit..Bought 2 new units this year and the GE is a much quieter and sturdier unit.. Plus the filter fits snug and has no noticeably gaps
