Easy to install, no vacuum needed for the diy version. Just make sure you line the threads up when piercing lines. Works as it should, a little cold for the PA winters, but does its job.

I was able to get this installed in one weekend pretty much by myself, only needed a hand to lift the 100lb Condensing Unit into place.
Easy no vacuum install and very clear instructions.

Easy install. When in doubt, go to You Tube. There are a lot of videos that will answer any questions you may have. That said, there is one point to make clear. Normal split systems need to be vacuumed and check for leaks before adding the refrigerant charge. This system does not, as the lines are pre-charged. The only change I made to the install was use Nylog thread sealant on the line fittings. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but it couldn’t hurt and it is used on HVAC systems that uses the same refrigerant.
Bottom line. I am very happy. The electrical bill is better than I expected.

I have been trying to contact Customer Service / Warranty Department for nearly the last two weeks. I first filled out their Web based support ticket. No Response. Next, I tried their tech support phone number. I got an answer, but was told the person I needed to talk to was not available at the moment and they would call back. Never got a call back. Next I tried an email to their customer support email address. Again, no response. This has to be the worse company I have ever dealt with. I purchased two of their units this summer. They both worked great and I was well pleased. They both still work but the one inside unit developed a noisy rattle and a lot of vibration. The filters and blower wheel are perfectly clean so I suspect an out of balance blower wheel, probably from new, just didn’t notice it until the rattle started. My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing from this company is, DON’T. This was the worst $3500 mistake of my life.
Update to my review: I made another attempt to get warranty service. I got in contact with the parts department via a phone call. They said my registration number does not match up with Model number of my Mini-Split. I got transferred to another individual, a pleasant young lady, we got the registration and model number issue straightened out. She took down my information and name of the parts I needed and said she would pass it onto the correct department, and that they would call me back. She sounded very sincere about my concerns, and I had high hopes. Well, it has been over a week since then and I’ve heard nothing. I’m at wits end with these people I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and purchase the needed parts from a local service center.

Bought one 24k btu DIY style unit, knew I needed two. Arrived as scheduled, driver used lift gate and pallet jack to place at my garage door as I asked. Perfect condition when I opened. Confirmed the measurements matched the online info. Started prep for two outdoor units, over/ under on brick wall. Masonry anchors need 9/16” hole. A 5/8 bit was too loose fit, used a 1/2 bit and seriously wallowed out the holes, worked well, very sturdy. Used the 25’ line length to mount on interior wall, directed drain line to utility sink. Used the full line length, just enough. Quick connectors worked perfect. Both units good after 2 weeks use.

I am a construction manager and I always get the Klimaire mini splits for our projects. They are easy to install and you do not need the vacuum/freon tools. You do not need to hire an HVAC specialist
Make sure you plan your run from the interior wall system to exterior condenser for 20 ft or less fir easier instsllation

Product performs wonderfully so far 2 months in. It is -2 today in Ohio showing and blowing. This unit takes the chill off in my 1100 square foot space and fully heats about 600 sq feet even at -2. I have attempted multiple times to register my product on the website. Says my number is not yet added to the system. Called and got no answer. Emailed using link on website and the email is not deliverable. So basically the warranty is fake in my opinion.

I have the 24K unit. It would be more helpful if they provided installation instructions and data that are specific to the size of the unit, rather than having generic “do this, unless your unit doesn’t have that part”.
Also, the wall bracket does NOT have the correct holes to mount the 24K unit. To mount the unit the required 11″ from the wall meant putting it at the end of the supports – except that the inner bolt slots don’t exist in the correct place. I had to drill 2 new holes for the unit mounting bolts.
Also, the inside unit doesn’t seem to quite fit on the support bracket, as it’s all the way down on the top hooks, but the bottom two cause the bottom edge to bow out a ways.
