We were out of town when this unit went out. Mid Summer in Florida. Hard to fine units in our area.
Ordered on line, Came to the door as promised. Awesome. Thank you.

My original intention was to replace my old through the wall unit with this one; I decided that I really needed that wall space so my contractor put it in the window. It was the perfect fit and is working just as intended. I bought a heavy duty bracket to support it outside.

I purchased the sleeve and AC for a 12 x 24 pool shed. Last year I installed a bathroom and changing area but it got too hot even with the shed insulated. I tried a portable AC and it couldn’t keep up when the days hit 80+. I cut out the wall and installed the sleeve and AC. We have had 2 days of 80+ and we have a heat wave coming with 3 days expected to be above 90. So far it has had no issues and we will see what happens when it hits over 90. I read reviews that say it’s extremely loud. I did not find that with this one. It’s not whisper quiet but I had music going and I didn’t have to set it very loud.

Just put this wall unit in my garage as I have turned it into my Man Cave. Man Cave is a double car garage and this unit has no issues keeping the temperature at 68 degrees with the outside temperature of 95 and the dew point of 73. It is noisy but it is a 14,000 btu air conditioner. I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to air condition their garage!

Went right into our old spot where our GE was and went to work. Cooler and quieter. Heat works well too.

This ac unit pumps pumps out cold air, but is INSANELY loud. The second the air compressor kicks in it sounds like it’s getting ready to lift off into space. It actually gives me a head ache and i have to turn it off. We even took it out of the wall, put it on the floor and turned it on to make sure we didn’t install it wrong and the vibration wasn’t because of the sleeve was loose in the wall. It’s not it was just as loud on the ground.
Smaller issue: The remote also didn’t work when we first got it. I had to bend the battery tabs so they made a better connection, and now it works. Just more of an annoyance.

Unit was simple to install and to operate. Really like the remote! Great output for AC, had ample Heat mode and amazed at the dehumidifier mode (Dry setting). Seems quite energy efficient too.

The sleeve is 17.5 inches deep, the unit is 20 inches before installing the front grill, that means the unit is 2.5 inches deeper than the sleeve and, therefore, cannot fit within the sleeve, and cannot be installed neatly.
By the time you install the front grill the protrusion is 3.25 inches, not exactly inconspicuous.
The trim kit does not fit without cutting 1/4 inch from each side of the lower horizontal member.
The entire louver assembly is so flimsy that I hesitate to adjust the air flow for fear of damaging it.
Wish I had retained the shipping material, it would be returned in a heartbeat.
