Great Heat, low noise and looks a lot better than a box-like device…..this is our fifth one to cover the whole house. Keep each room a different temperature, and our electric bill is not that big since we let the rooms that are unused go to a cooler temp. Has a thermostat control option to set your temp, or just manually set on high or low. Optionally swivels back and forth like a fan, if desired. Never used the remote control.

Además de que el material se ve de muy buena calidad, no es el típico calentador de plástico.

I purchased my Lasko 6435 heater about 2 years ago to provide heat to a 12′ x 14′ room that I spend quite a bit of time in. It also allows me to lower the overall heat of the house but keep this room at 70 degrees in the winter time which is about 6 months long where I live.
My objectives when I purchased it were to provide a cost effective method for heating this room which would be pretty much balanced out by lowering my house thermostat by a few degrees. Thus effectively getting comfortable living just for the minimal cost of the heater and no to very little extra cost in my energy bill. Since I am on a pretty fixed budget I thought this would be a good investment to make.
Results :
I use the Lasko on High with a setting of 70 degrees and it is on 24 x 7 in the winter. For temperature control with 70 degrees set I find the temp runs between 72 – 68 degrees. Thus it turns on at 68 and runs until the room is 72 degrees. It takes between 10 – 15 minutes for each cycle. Thus on a daily basis it runs about 4 – 6 hours a day. It is rated at 1500 watts for high but I believe based on what I did in research that that high rating is closer to 1300 watts.
Energy Analysis –
Given that it runs 4 – 6 hours per day at 1300 watts my costs per month are approximately as follows. 6 – 9kw’s per day x 30 days or 180 – 270 kw’s per month. My energy cost is about .11 per kw + .02 for distribution or .13 per kw. So based on this my monthly cost runs between – $23.40 to $35.10 or so about a $1 a day.
Recommendation –
This product runs quiet and in my opinion very efficiently. It meets the needs that I purchased the Lasko for and have had no service problems at all with the unit. I feel good using this method to use the same amount of power but be more comfortable.
Pros –
* Energy Efficient ( note this is for radiant heat for a small space as a supplement to an HVAC system )
* Quiet and I really like the oscillator function .. I think it is effective in heating the area
* Looks much nicer than a typical space heater
Cons –
* I really don’t think I needed to pay for the remote – I never use it but for some it may be nice

Funcional, liviano, bonito y fácil de usar para espacios pequeños (4m2 aprox). Su diseño poco convencional da un toque acogedor al ambiente. La oscilación de aire caliente ofrece una sensación similar a la calefacción de un automóvil y favorece que el calor se esparsa rápidamente por todo el espacio, calentádolo y aclimántandolo en poco tiempo sin necesidad de mantenerlo encendido por largos periodos de tiempo. Esa función en particular me ha encantado porque suelo colocarlo cerca de mis pies y eso ayuda mucho a “entrar en calor” reduciendo la sensación de frío. Además, si tienes mascotas en el lugar, lo agradecerán muchísimo. A mis perras les encanta tumbarse cerca del calefactor y es seguro al no tener flama de gas. Contras: 1) Por seguridad no debe conectarse a una extensión; sin embargo el cable tiene 1.5 m aprox de longitud. 2) Hace un poco de ruido para esparcir el aire pero nada grave o que no pueda tolerarse. 3) En un principio da sensación de resequedad en la garganta, pero regulando la distancia y el tiempo de encendido, eso desaparece. 4) Respecto al consumo de luz, no sabría decirlo, pues aún no he tenido oportundiad de cotejarlo. Pero como digo, si el espacio es pequeño en cuestión de 15 mins el ambiente alcanza su temperatura ideal y permanece así por mucho tiempo por lo que no es necesario tenerlo trabajando como loco. En gral muy satisfecha con la elección. Aún está en periodo de prueba, pero si la pasa adquiriré uno más para obsequiar a mi madre. Espero sirva esta reseña al momento de optar o no por este producto según sean las necesidades que cada quien busca satisfacer.

Only had this for a few days and am amazed at how great it works. I’m heating a 10′ x 10′ well-insulated cabin and from the moment I turned it on the heat was significant. I have the plug-in model so there’s no remote control, which is fine. Also, no kids running around so don’t need the tip-over protection that other heaters have. The design is wonderful and find myself watching the unit oscillate like its alive. I really hope the unit lasts for a number of years as it fits perfectly with my other-worldly cabin decor.

That should tell you how much we love this heater. The first one we bought was for a family member who kept the house cold because of high heating costs. I sent him this heater, and it kept whatever room he was in wonderfully warm, without inflating the electric bill.
Next one was for us at home. We have a fairly large living room, and this heater warms up the whole space in under ten minutes. We bought a backup for the bedroom and set the timer so it goes off after an hour. Works perfectly.
We then sent two to my parents for when the power goes out during winter storms. They love it, and they love not raising their heating bill by heating the whole house when they’re just in one room. Same with my sister, who lives in a climate with two months of not-hot summer and cold the rest of the year.
No visible hot wires, like other heaters. Good blower sends out warm air; you don’t have to be close to it at all to feel the warmth. Oscillator covers a decently wide range as it goes back and forth, or you can just aim it in one direction. We have two long-haired cats and have never been nervous about them getting close to it (which they don’t, because they don’t like the blowing sensation). Nice ceramic design doesn’t look ugly. Ours, and the others I’ve sent to family, have now lasted for over two years, in some cases four. Overall, we all love this heater.

I have been purchasing these heaters since 2013. Bought my first one at a Walmart and when I went back they did not have any more so I have been buying through Amazon since 2014. I just purchased my 9th heater – not because they break but because they are FABULOUS little heaters that do a really big job and they look good doing it. I know looks may not matter to some but they do to me. When people come to my house and see them they always compliment them. I have purchased for family and friends as gifts. I have a friend that after seeing mine, bought several and now she has other people buying them as well – it’s a REVOLUTION – no more ugly generic heaters! They are compact but can heat a large room. Seriously, I still get thanks from the people I have given them to and not a one has broken. In fact, I have them all over my house but the original one that I bought at Walmart, still works and it has been used A LOT! I just purchased 2 more to keep on hand for fear Lasko will stop making this model. LASKO, please continue to make this heater…I am doing everything I can to spread the word how great this product is – it has tons of features like oscillation, high/low, specific temperature auto cut-off and specific time cut-off – just to name a few. My one very tiny gripe is that somewhere along the way they changed the color of the heater slightly and I liked the original color better. I know, ridiculous complaint because they still look great! I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
