Bought this ac unit with total faith in LG. Well I was wrong. First you have to use their wall sleeve. The instructions were wrong. We were told to leave the sleeve sticking out from the wall into the room by an inch. Well now the trim piece fitting around the unit inside the house in an inch away from the wall and looks really bad. Then when we turned the unit on the fan makes a horrible noise. We finally got it mounted in so it doesn’t make the noise but its very sensitive, 1/4 inch this way or that and it makes the noise, so frustrating. The unit seems to put out good cold air is the only reason for the 2 star. And then on the outside of the unit, outside the house, the back of it just looks terrible! There must be some sort of back panel or something that goes on the outside to make the unit look better on the outside of the house. It looks bad enough it’s embarrasing. I wouldn’t recommend this unit to anyone at this point. Keep shopping.

Easy installation. They provided plenty of foam to properly seal all gaps between interior and exterior. The unit was also properly packed and had no damage when I received it as opposed to what I have seen in other reviews.
My tenant seems to say that it is cooling very fast and efficiently.
The key to a good installation is to have a proper slope so just make sure that you tilt your AC enough towards the exterior.
