This little cooling and heating combo unit is perfect for my office. I turned on the fan to the high setting because I was hot this morning and very quickly turned it down to the low setting. It got cold enough in my office that I flipped it over to the heating section on the low setting so that I could warm up a little bit. It is a powerful little unit that works perfectly in a nice size office. It runs quietly. In fact, it almost reminds me of having a little bit of white noise in the background, not bothersome at all.

I work in a jail, and it tends to get cold at night, and this has been a life saver for me. It’s easily stored in my locker when not in use but can be easily transported in my backpack.

I was so excited for my heater to come in! My health care worker friend suggested it to me since I just started working in a really cold office in the hospital. I just got it and plugged it in and it worked great… until it didn’t. The high heat was really warm and it felt great! I got too hot and turned it down to the low heat setting, I saw a coil turn orange and then I heard a *POP*. I figured I needed to just turn it off for a bit but when I turned it back on the low heat setting only worked as a fan and the high heat setting was only producing heat that the low heat setting was putting off before the noise… very disappointed…

Can heat or cool your room just like it said. The different levels of outputs is mostly decorative. On the heating side it’s either Hot or Housefire. Definitely AFRAID TO LEAVE IT UNATTENDED or out of sight. Also afraid to leave it plugged in or laying on the carpet floor. Cooling part just moves the air around your room. High setting makes the room cooler but that’s probably the the wind shifting that your feeling. I mostly use it since my window leaks from the outside (cold in winter, hot in summer). I just turn it on for three or so minutes to heat or cool my room.
Had that new plastic smell to it when opened. My product must have been sitting in a warehouse for a while because when I used the heater for the first three times, the smell of burning dust filled the room. I have to either open the window to air out my room (in winter) or let the smell lessen by opening my bedroom door and wafting it into the rest of the house. If your using it for the first time on the cooling part during the summer, the dust on it will probably be blown about your room so PEOPLE ALLERGIC TO DUST BE AWARE.
Overall, I don’t particularly like it but I use it from time to time. If your looking for something to run for long periods of time, maybe look into a different product. This product MIGHT BE USEFUL FOR CAMPING in the outdoors though since it’s smell will be blown away.

I tend to get a little chilled when working at my desk and this is the perfect little heater for me! Not only does it warm me up, it warms up the entire room…ON THE LOW SETTING! So far I have used it only as a heater, but I am also looking forward to using it in the summer when I can use the fan/cooling part! It tilts so you can am the air up to circulate it and it is the perfect size. Highly recommend.
