After having good experience using a small ozone generator to disinfect CPAP masks and hoses I bought this with the expectation that it could be used to disinfect our vehicles tied to the current Covid 19 pandemic. Ozone is a proven disinfectant in water and air applications. When it comes to disinfecting vehicles, there are a lot of nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean. That is especially true of the seat belts when they are retracted. When we go shopping our hands can become sources for transfer of virus and bacteria to our seat belt, door handles, gear shift, etc. from the shopping carts. I bought this device specifically to make it easy to disinfect the interior of our cars and it seems to work very well by setting the timer for 1 hour. We do this twice a week to make sure our vehicles are germ and virus free and a side benefit is that the vehicles smell nice and fresh. If you buy one of these for this purpose, be sure that you let the vehicle sit for several hours for the ozone to naturally clear. We don’t have any way to test and verify that it killed all bacteria and viruses but based on the smell of the ozone, this product does a good job. I purchased another small car ozone generator on Amazon and returned it because the output of ozone was minimal. That sure isn’t the case with this device. I hope this review helps. For us, this product works well and it also works well to freshen up the air in rooms in our house.

I use it to take off all the humidity smell and it works very well, just don’t stay inside the room and the house depend where you put your machine on .

Bought a used car that had strong cigarette and weed odor (it was basically an ash tray with wheels)
Ran this machine for 10 minutes (it says to run it for 3′ for strong odor but I played safe) Odor is gone!
After I took the seats out, wash them, carpet and roof liner too, the smell was still there. Cabin filter was replaced too. After chemicals fail to get rid of the smell I bought this phone generator.
I ran the machine with the car on, recirculating the air with the fan on max speed, my daughter was pleased with the results.
If it breaks later, well, a professional job will cost $180, and I could replaced the plates for $20. So a win win outcome.
Instructions were enough to operate it safely and with no issues.

This machine will take care of so many odors. I clean Airbnbs and I have taken care of cigarette smokes smells, marijuana smells and dog smell a very many units. looks like a charm. Be very careful and read instructions thoroughly. Can be dangerous if you don’t go by the instructions. Leaves a bit of a chlorine smell. However, it’s better than smoke smell or dog smell etc. Very satisfied!

Pros –
*10x better than the last one I had that I paid twice as much for.
*Industrial looking, but not ugly. Feels really solidly built with a sturdy handle for moving it around.
*Simple little “twist” timer makes it fool proof.
*Package perfectly, came exactly when promised.
*Also has an ionizer, which is cool! (I didn’t even notice this when ordering.)
*In the package is a little not asking for a call if any tiny thing is not perfect. Then an email a few days later saying the same thing. I usually ignore these things, but for some reason I believed them. I didn’t need to use either of them.
I used to leave my other unit running all the time and it helped, but you couldn’t usually tell if it was on or not. This one, I put it in a room by the main air intake for the furnace and only let it run for about 10 minutes before it’s perfectly obvious that the whole house (1200sqft) has been “ionized.”
Cons –
I really, really wanted to find a con so that I sounded more reliable. But I really can’t find much…Wait! I wish it would have come in an oak cabinet…But Noooooo! 🙂
If you like this type of product, this is perfect, and way underpriced for the job it does compared to others that I’ve bought.
Just buy it. You’ll love it. Honest.

Have a 2500 square-foot hounds, you can plug it at one and it works for the whole house however you have to be out of the house when you do this because it’s not good for your lungs but it makes your house smell Fresh.

Experienced in car detailing, I purchased this product to eliminate persistent interior odours that still remained after multiple shampoo, carpet cleaning and interior treatments. This includes cabin filter change and wet vac. This is a non-smoker vehicle but is used regularly for work.
Ran two treatment of the Ozone Generator, vehicle running, full A/C in RC mode.
1 interval of 15 minutes
1 interval of 30 minutes.
I then kept windows open and did not enter the vehicle until the 03 had “dissipated” within 4 hours.
I can confirm the odour was reduced but not completely eliminated.
As a further experiment, I placed a magazine with a terrible odour imbedded into its pages into a box and placed the OZONE Generator in the box for 15 minutes. The odour was reduced but not eliminated.
I will be testing again further with 2 x 2022 model Commercial Trucks that have been used by smokers. The cabins smell of sweat and cigarettes. I will also attempt again on my work vehicle and update the review accordingly.
I rate the build quality positively for the price, point, it could take some rough handling. I selected this model for it’s rudimentary case and simple design. These are designed for practical use, not to look pretty like some of the other digital models on the market. In my experience, the less plastic the better!
The case body is sturdy metal design. The let down is the quality of the turning knobs which are plastic and feel to be a cheap mechanism. They are however functional and I have had no faults or issues.
I will say this to any inexperienced users. Use this equipment responsibly! Follow the rule of the 3 x Ps. I even placed a sign on the dashboard instructing any curios bystanders to stay clear for their safety.
As mentioned above, I did thoroughly ventilate the vehicle and did not enter it 4 hours post Ozone treatment. This was for my safety. This point of course is for all Ozone Generators, not just this model.
