Normally no matter how bad a product is, it’s not worth my time writing a review. Mr heater earns my first ever review. Where do I even start? I bought three of those heater all somehow failed to work properly within a month. Hard to ignite, spit fuel, smoke. Countless time in the cold winter morning find out the whole night these heater never worked in the greenhouse. Then within warranty time, they refuse to refund or cover the repair cost. Boy those cost a fortune to fix! This year I bought other brands heater, nothing like them! So I can confidently tell you this: Mr heater sxxks.

The heater smoked a bit the first use on diesel but I expected that, this is the best heater on the market of this type, awesome!

Even though it is loud it does what I ask of it… warm a pole barn in mid winter.

For the first year, these guys were great. Quick starting, very hot. But after they sat for summer and we brought them back out, the problems started. First, like the other reviews say, they are not using proper fuel line in the heaters. As a result, after 1 year of kerosene, the fuel feed lines dried out and cracked, allowing air leaks = no ignition. So we had to replace all lines on both of our heaters. 1 year later, one of the heaters is completely dead. We visually inspected the circuit board and found a broken transistor. Mr. Heater is sending us a circuit board for no cost, but these heaters are far from maintenance free. We have 4 other VERY old heaters that keep going strong, year after year. I cant help but think these new generations are made with the cheapest materials possible. They get 3 stars, because there aren’t that many options out there for kerosene jet heaters anymore, and when they do work they worked great

I am heating a 3,200 square foot pole barn that has 14′ doors – and this unit heats the entire place very well using kerosene. in 45 degree weather it warmed the barn up to 75 degrees in less than one hour. Only small adjustments needed to fuel pressure.
