Originally gave this three stars but have now am giving it 5 stars because of their customer service. After my review was posted their customer service contacted me and offered to replace the unit. The new unit showed up within the week and is nice and quiet. It’s nice to see a seller that stands behind their products.
When I first got this air purifier it worked fantastic. It removed cooking odors better than any other purifier we have ever had and removed so much more airborne dust as well. Now just 3 months out of warranty it has developed a chirping or squeaking noise coming from the fan. If I turn the fan up to high and run it at that speed for five minutes or so then set it back to auto it slows it down to the lowest fan setting and the squeaking begins again. We’re at the point where we only run it when we are at work because the sound is just to annoying to have in the background while trying to watch television. I bought a different model of the same brand for my bedroom and as of yet I have had no issues with it but I’m a bit concerned as to it’s longevity. Only time will tell if I need to replace it as well but I am really disappointed with this model.

I got this because my brother-in-law is Coming to visit and he’s allergic to cats and we do have two cats and two dogs so there’s a lot of fur around ( I vacuum every other day though..) so I wanted to have a good air purifier for his bedroom just to make sure that the air is clean and he doesn’t have an allergy attack or anything. I just wanna make sure that he’s more comfortable and I have had previous air, purifiers and filters and everything and to be very honest this one is great for the money. It’s actually really quiet. I also live in an area where we can do burns for leaves, logs, etc. so when my neighbors or even when we’re doing burns I’ve turned this on and my house doesn’t continuously smell like outside smoke or anything weird it really does purify the air fairly quickly, which is so helpful because previous ones other brands they haven’t done that. Right now this has been in my open concept living room, dining room kitchen so it’s a very large area and it’s definitely kept the air clean which I love. I’ve had it over by my trashcan because my husband left his Tupperware in the car for way too long and I got moldy so I had them throw it out so I put this next to my trashcan to purify the air on my trashcan and you have no idea how amazing that was. Right now this has been in my open concept living room, dining room kitchen so it’s a very large area and it’s definitely kept the air clean which I love. I’ve had it over by my trashcan because my husband left his Tupperware in the car for way too long and it got moldy so I had him throw it out so I put this next to my trashcan to purify the air around my trashcan and you have no idea how amazing that was. Much smaller than the pictures implied. Good unit and very quiet. Significant plus is that “night” mode cuts out all the lights. That is awesome. The filter is quite substantial. Again, AWESOME. Even though smaller than I thought, the filtration is going to be excellent. I have ZERO use for Bluetooth connectivity to my phone or other. MOST people just want a highly filtered, quiet system with ON/OFF and fan speed control. The cost of purifiers is getting out of control with bells and whistles. Who will be the first to provide a fantastic quiet, highly filtered system with just ON/OFF and fan speed control? Have to think that would help with prices…thereby increasing purchases! Hated to ditch the predecessor (different MFR) just because the touchscreen didn’t work anymore.

Prospective buyers should take note that non-OEM filters will not power the unit due to the embedded magnet requirement.
