We use this product bi-annually to maintain a 150 lb Ice Machine for a full time fire station. The area has extremely hard water and this product has the best outcomes compared to white vinegar or other commercial descaler’s. Specifically it rises cleaner and does not damage to the ice generation plate.

I have an counter top ice machine (Fridgidaire) for mine to operate in cleaning mode you HOLD the powerr button for 5-6 seconds .. it got a lot of bacteria and dirt out, I’ll update on ice taste soon as I get my ice machine running …SIDE NOTE it did so much better then just water and vinegar
