I have have been using this to “ozonate” my water since I had been reading about its health benefits and wanted to try it out. I have been nothing but pleased with this machine. You can smell the ozone while it’s purifying the water so I usually lay a lid across the top which helps or I leave the room because it’s purifying the air as well. I have drank the water immediately after it was done and it tastes fresh and pure. The ozone smell disappears rather quickly and even if I do smell it faintly at first, it doesn’t bother me at all. The first day I used this, I was going on day 3 with a headache. I drank a full glass of the ozonated water I made and later I noticed that my headache was completely gone! I will be using this in other rooms as an air purifier. It definitely will put out enough ozone to do one vacant room at a time. You can just set the timer and come back when it’s done. So far, this ozone generator has surpassed my expectations. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced unit like I was and you want one that has a good output of ozone that’s easy to use, I totally recommend this one. There were no reviews for this at the time of my purchase so I just took my chances on it… I’m glad I did!
Edit… I’ve had this awhile now and it’s still working perfectly. Some people were asking how to use it so I thought I’d share how I make my ozonated water with this unit. It’s really easy…
I purchased a glass 2qt pitcher that I fill with water and hang the unit from a cabinet above the pitcher. I attached the tube to the bottom of the unit with the air stone on the other end and submerse it into the pitcher of water. (It’s the same way you hook up air to a fish aquarium.) I set it for 30 minutes and it bubbles away. You can add more time if you feel the need. Once it’s done, you can drink it or whatever.

I’m not sure how long this thing will last but I set this thing up inside a sealed box with some stank ass shoes and now they don’t smell bad anymore. Just be careful not to overdo it or else your shoes will have a funny smell that will linger. Apparently ozone will cause a reaction with man-made materials that will cause an off-gassing.
Update:
I have used this thing in many rooms of my house it still works great and has a high enough output to get rid of odors.
Second Update:
I wanted to give some advice on using an ozone generator after using mine and doing a ton of research, just be aware I am no expert on the subject. First thing to note, is that ozone is a super strong oxidizer, it will literally change the chemical structure of many compounds, especially plastics, meaning that it can destroy or weaken them, and in the process cause a horrible off-gassing. Even when the ozone itself is fully gone and decayed, a similar smelling gas will be emitted by whatever product you tried to sanitize or deodorize. Use of these machines is not to be taken lightly. Too high of a concentration or too long of a treatment can have a permanent damaging effect and the off-gassing will not go away. Use the absolute minimum concentration and time that you need. I have noticed that multiple short treatments are the way to go. For example, running the generator in a box with stinky shoes for a shorter period with some time to let the ozone decay and then running it again tends to work better than just blasting it for the same amount of time in one shot. Now ideally i think the best way one of these machines would work is if it could sense the actual concentration of ozone and then run for a specific amount of time at a preset concentration but that’s not going to happen. Just be aware this machine has its uses, but it is not for everyone or for every situation.

I’ve had it for about a month. Time will tell if it has longevity.

It an excellent machine I use it every day and the water is also delicious, I also use the water for clean and it works perfectly with and without cleaner added plus just the water it self will take smoke smell out of the walls, I definitely recommend it for cleaning and drinking!

I wasn’t expecting much, given the low price for an ozone generator, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I wanted it mainly for clothes closets. The timer is a great feature, because I set it up, turn it on, and leave to go elsewhere. It would be better if the tubing were longer to reach farther away from the electric outlet and to enable placement of the tubing higher up off the floor. O3 is heavier than air and I don’t want the ozone just on the floor.
Haven’t tried ozonating water with it yet. That will be very useful for disinfecting produce

Very easy to use, the size is perfect and easily to take with you on trips. It’s not too noisy and works well for me. I drink ozone water for good health.

This ozone generator does it’s job. I do have a problem with the directions. They were obviously translated poorly from another language. It wouldn’t have taken much to have someone who understands English read them before mass producing a product and selling it in the united states. They are not very clear and do not describe all of the features and how this unit can help the consumer. I have had to research and figure out most of the uses on my own.
