I bought a Global II by Dry & Store 4 years ago because it was the best going. It had some pretty major design flaws (ie: giant gap at the hinges) and finally the fan gave out so I went shopping for different one and landed on this one and OMG where has this been?!
It’s small and looks modern. As opposed to the Dry and Store which is big enough for the whole city’s hearing aids and looks like something my grandmother, who was born literally 100 years ago would have had on her nightstand.
It works in 45 minutes versus HOURS.
It doesn’t use desiccant. At $5 a pop for desiccant every 2 months, this unit will have paid for itself before the warranty is up, not to mention the environmental impact of “disposable” plastic encased desiccant “briks”.
Also, it’s half the price. So like even if it died in two years and had to pay for another one outside of warranty, I still wouldn’t be paying as much as the old one.
So too good to be true, right? I admit I was a little incredulous that it would be effective when I first got it because by all appearances, a machine needs to be a big clunky MACHINE to work. So before I entrusted my hearing aids to it, I dripped a couple of drops of water (safely and please don’t void my warranty) into the center of it, ran it and sure enough, the water was gone when it was done. My hearing aids come out feeling crisp and dry and not hot.
I use RIC hearing aids and this fit them without issue.
This feels like stepping into the 21st century. It’s so simple… Why is this so hard for everyone else? Glad I found this.

My hearing aids get “wet” often because I sweat alot when doing chores. So putting them in this dryer is a big help in drying them out instead of just taking them out and laying them down or putting them in the charger.

Lo compré con amiguitas reservas a prestar de las buenas opiniones y de ser recomendado por algunos fabricantes de auxiliares auditivos ya que me parecía de poca calidad en las fotos, sin embargo al recibirlo me percaté de todo lo contrario. Buena calidad, es bonito (parece un alajero), y es rápido y eficiente. He colocado mis auxiliares húmedos después de correr y después de un ciclo de 45 minutos están perfectos y se sienten limpios

Funciona bem. Assim q ligado na tomada acende a luz azul (fica acessa direto), é só abrir a tampa, colocar os aparelhos desligados e fechar. Só encostar o dedo na luz azul ( que ficará piscante) e pronto, irá executar a desinfecção e desumidificação por 40 minutos. Desliga sozinho.

Simple to use. Can use any powered USB outlet including the enclosed one. Set devices inside, close lid, gently push power button and wait 45 minutes. All done.

Very little off time for my hearing aids with this device. Also, it is easy to use and works well to dry out small electronics.

I am unable to ascertain if this unit is actually drying and sanitizing as stated, but it seems to work. I don’t have a thermometer or light sensor to check it! All I can hope for is fewer failures due to condensation and so far so good.
The design and use is very nice. The only thing I don’t like is that the button has no tactile feel so when turning it on one must wait to see if the light stays on, or come back and check in a few minutes. Other than that it is a good quality piece of kit, works quietly and does exactly as advertised.
