I’ve tried quite a few of the different “sploofs” or “personal air filters” that are out there. This one is one of my least favorites. Why? Well, despite it being really funnily shaped – it’s one of those air filters that just doesn’t function great. It’s shape makes it inconvenient to try to blow smoke / vapor through – it’s just not ergonomic. The only plus I really saw for it was the design is entertaining. Functionally though? Disappointing.

I ordered this to use when we are not able to go outside to smoke and let me tell you this lil baby holds up all our smoke! Great quality smoke filter! I’ve enjoyed using this! You will not be disappointed! Comes in handy and it’s easy to use and hold and the design is the best! It has a nice size mouth piece where you can blow the smoke in and it will not flow out only into the filter so that’s a plus for me!!

Not only does this serve a great purpose, keeping you from stinking up your house or other people’s houses, it’s also got a great look. This little smoke grenade will be keeping smoke from spreading unlike its real counterpart. You can also replace the filter, but it’s gonna take a bit of effort to pry the filter out so I’ll wait till its actually needing to be changed so I don’t destroy it by accident.

Wow, this thing sort of amazed me right after my first exhale. I’ve made my own smoke/smell eaters with dryer sheets and a cardboard tube before, but the smoke never disappeared in my homemade methods. So, I was very skeptical of this smoke filter too, but I’m not anymore. Thats right, because this absorbed every plume and trail of smoke that I blew though it. Absolutely nothing, besides the rest of my hot breath came out of the exhaust port, it was a sight to behold. I don’t think there was a smell either, I’m 98% sure, but without a nonsmoker around, I can’t say one hundred percent. This filter has magic inside and it’s the best surprise of my day. It’s definitely worth a look for value and time. I am recommending. Thank you much.

This is not very discreet. It’s bulky. But I can definitely say that it works. It contains the smoke by capturing all the particulates into the filter. It’s not 100% at capturing all the smells that can be produced from smoking. But it does a pretty decent job at containing the smoke aspect of it. No more awkward haziness if someone happens to walk into your room after a big hit.
The filter does need to be replaced more frequent with heavy usage.

I am familiar with these type of filters. They work extremely well and not a lick of smoke or vapor will show coming out. These are always great to have in the backpack for the camping sesh, car sesh, or just indoor vaping or Penjamin Franklin.
The downside for me was in the design. I thought an “all silicone” unit would be amazing and soft on the lips and easy to hold. I am familiar with these type of smoke units, so for me the downside was a few things.
1) Airflow on bottom is restricted by design. Others on market I have used have slits or slots or frame out the bottom, this has cardboard holes punched and too far apart restricting flow immediately. Not enough holes.. As you use these over time, the draw will be very heavy so you want optimum flow. I feel this is restrictive and pressure is needed to exhale more than most starting off.
2) The lip portion is quite square and almost impossible to get a good seal and with the added pressure of #1, smoke or vapor will come out of the side lips and not into the product. There is a learning curve but holding in and inhaling take refined skill. As someone to use this for discrepancy rather than air quality of others in the room I FEEL it lacks in this design.
Long story short square lip lets smoke escape = Bad.
3) The lid itself part pops of and is hard to get back in. With normal plastic parts on other designs, the plastic is smooth and easily slides in and out of cardboard for easy cleaning without damaging the core filter. With this silicone Model, the silicone just rips up and tears up the inner lining of the cardboard filter as it tries to get back into a sealed position, you have to rotate or twist it.
There is no other way. I feel this wont last at all.
4) The novelty design with the handle makes it top heavy and will be lopsided an makes for the lid to pop off easily *see 2 an 3.
It works yes. works great, no.
I took the chain off — but the mouth is square, smoke is still escaping and the lid keeps popping off.
Hey, at least the inside is good and can use it for a space in my other ones.
I didn’t feel this passes the test at all for me, sorry.
Note: One thing, I am not sure why it bothered me so much but the container box is made out of plastic that doesn’t fold to a box shape and shouldn’t be used at all. All you need is simple cardboard and perhaps cut down on marketing. Its just more for show, and is not needed in my opinion but could focus more on the next design to have a better snug fit and better curved lip shape and unrestrictive bottom.
Sorry to be critical as much, but I have to be as honest as possible in these. This is my experience, and you may have a better time using it.
Price is reasonable, just not as functional as hoped. Others on market worked better from my experience. Sometimes simple is better.

Its ok and works for what it is intended for. I’m not sure what was thinking but the smoke from a cig still fill the air so I’m now not sure the point of this.
