I did the install myself and had the unit ready to start up today. I did have a technician come out in the case that the recharge was not enough to fill my lines and inside unit. We fired it up and by mid afternoon my wife and I were enjoying a cool quiet room experience despite the heat outside. So far so good. Unit was easy to install and straightforward in the installation. Very happy with the cool air.

Good for DIY with extra tools bought online for less than $150.
Very quiet… in fact I have to feel the air blow in order to know it’s running.

Installation was a breeze. I contacted PD support on-line using the chat option. All ? answered to the point and solution worked as expected. Glad that i have a unit i can rely on those sweaty days of summer.

The units seem to work quite well as compared to top name brands. Installation is the same difficulty as any mini split, easy if you are handy and not too difficult if you’re not handy and simply follow the instructions. I give the unit itself 4 stars. The reason for the 2 star rating is the horrible customer service. I need a new trim plate for my head unit to replace a broken louver and have left emails and voicemails with no response in months after numerous attempts to reach the seller/manufacturer. Hope this review will help some of you make the right decision for you.

We purchased this unit for an office addition that was being built for our Automotive shop. It was simple to install and set up. Is amazingly quiet. Honestly we can’t even tell it is on while inside the office and barely hear it outside of the office. We have the thermostat set to 80* and honestly it feels degrees cooler. We are very impressed with this unit. Set up is also DIY, you can get the tools from Amazon or even a local tool store and make set up a breeze. We loved it so much that a second unit was purchased by a worker to add to his home! Note that we are in Northern California and have 100+ weather for months on end.
