Set it up in a living room and it does provide some cooling but it takes a while on a hot day. It is very quiet and easy to use.

The AIRO 14000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner is working great. Cooling my 600 sq. ft. room quickly and efficiently. it keeps the space consistently comfortable. The unit is easy to set up with the included DIY installation kit. the remote control adds convenience, allowing me to adjust settings without getting up. It’s relatively quiet for its size and power. the portability means I can move it between rooms as needed. However, water drainage is kind of hassle. Its hard to find tray that slim. I have to lift the portable ac to drain the water. Other than that it’s great. Overall, this AC unit is powerful, user-friendly, and a great for anyone needing reliable cooling in a large room.

This portable AC unit is pretty good! I didn’t recognize the brand so I wondered if it would be alright, but it was more than alright.
It is compact, easy to move because it has wheels
You do have to either setup constant draining (tubing included), or dump it every now again like you would a dehumidifier, but it functions very well.
I used this in a room that was about 95* at the time, and it ended up cooling it right down the moment the compressor turned down. During the phase where the compressor wasn’t running yet even the strong fan speed was a huge relief in moments.
I’d say it’s rating for 700 sq ft is reasonable. I think it could work for a bit larger of a room if it is one room with the door closed but either way it works perfectly well for the rated size.
Combining the quality of function with quality of convenience and ease of setup leads me to give this a full 5 stars.

My husband never does anything the first time I ask. So when our AC broke completely due to his lack of maintaining it I wasn’t shocked. I live in Central Florida and its August. I have had this mini AC in our room to keep it ice cold when we are sleeping and the main AC cools the rest of the house. Three days ago the main AC went out and if it wasn’t for this mini AC our house would be at 100+ degrees for 2 weeks while we are getting quotes to fix ours and installation.
This powerful little AC really does cool 700 square feet. The main part of our house has remained cool for the last couple of days. We are all camping out in the living room and we even have access to the connected dining room and kitchen. The house is getting slightly warm when we use the oven but it is super hot outside and the area it is cooling is pushing the full 700 square feet.
Set up and installation was super fast. It is basically plug and play. The only real issue we came across is in the piece that fits in the window. The frame part that goes in the window is barely larger than the circle opening it has. That opening is for the exhaust tube to take the hot air out of the house. The plastic piece fits in my window easily but the frame of the window is deeper than the small piece of plastic below the hole. So in order for us to be able to use the AC correctly we had to cut a small long piece of wood to put into the window frame to hold the plastic piece up high enough that you can attach the tube. Not the end of the world but I can’t imagine I am going to be the only one to have this issue so be aware.
Once we got past installation it was a dream. It is super easy to control and works like a dream. It easily cools down to the level we want and keeps working all day and night. It is slightly loud when it turns on and off as the temperature in the room changes. The drip tray works well and no water ends up on the ground. It is worth noting I haven’t had to empty it in 3 days but I haven’t been running the dehumidifier. It was easy to empty what tiny bit of water was in there quickly. The remote works as expected nothing fancy but a decent range.
Overall my house is cool because we have this and while I wish I didn’t have to replace my AC my husband isn’t in the dog house because we have this super powerful mini AC.

This air conditioner has been the best thing I’ve got all summer. It works really well, is quiet and cools down my bedroom easily. I live in a very hot climate, and this air conditioner makes my place feel really cold if I need it to and can perform all day with no issues if need be. I searched the instructions endlessly wondering how to empty the water but I found that it doesn’t need to like older air conditioners I’ve had. It has a tube to empty excess water but after having it for over a month I have not needed to empty it even once. I’m super happy with it and look forward to using it every summer for a long time!

Very easy to set up and it comes with quite a few options for getting it fit into your window just the way you’d like. It comes with foam for any gaps but some extra on hand might not go amiss if you have windows with larger gaps. Instructions were easy to understand and it kicked on right away after the 24 hour waiting period to make sure the coolant was all in order post shipping.
Nice and cold but you do have to make sure you keep any wild critters off the top of it. It has a lovely sort of fan function that lifts it up and down to push air about but if you don’t have it set to move and something gets on top of it then that part stays closed. Lots of moisture getting trapped! My fault that it happened at all and easy to fix but there aren’t any warnings or auto shut offs if it happens. Or mine never remained closed long enough for that to be an issue.
Holding up well and VERY quiet. I’ve used portable AC units before that can sound like a little tornado. This is lightweight, quiet, and very useful!

My landlord takes his time whenever there is a problem at my place. And lately the central air breaks down multiple times every summer. So I bought this portable a/c unit and it has been a lifesaver! It comes with a plastic slide that fits into the window, and a large hose that blows the hot air out the window while the cold air blows from the front of the unit. The remote control is handy as well. Now I’m no longer suffering all night when the A/C breaks down, I just plug in my portable unit and my blood pressure stays more or less normal.
