I was looking for a cute portable air cooler, and this one is perfect! It’s stylish and blends in great with my room. It’s super quiet but still gives a nice breeze. Plus, I can add ice to make it even cooler, and the best part is it’s the only one I found with an oscillation feature. I’m so happy I got this!

This is quiet and you can feel the coolness if it is close to you. I was afraid that the mist coming of it would dampen my wooden furniture, but the furniture stays dry. The unit has rubber feet to protect furniture. The water lasts a long time, but the charge rapidly goes down. It shows the percentage of the charge. I tested this at work with a coworker because the weather has turned and I don’t want cooling on my face when the nighttime temperatures are dipping in the 50’s. I’m not sure that the charge will last all night. The Chinese to English translation leaves much to be desired, some of the sentences were a bit amusing and some words were misspelled. It comes with an extra filter, but doesn’t tell you when to change it or even where to get replacements. This is not something I would buy for myself, it’s quiet, small and attractive but it’s not as strong a cooler as I’d want on a hot night. I think if you live without central air in summer, you would be better off buying a free standing air conditioner so you could cool a whole room.

I have fans all over the house. Numerous ceiling fans and standalone fans. I even have a number of those handheld fans. But I needed one I could bring around with me as I’m working in the garden. This fan is battery operated and large enough for me to set it down a few feet away and still keep me cool as I garden outside during the summer. It works surprisingly well. Now I thought it came with a mister because this product had the word “Mist” in the title but it doesn’t. It’s a humidifier. It’s a bit misleading but if you description and pictures clearly shows its a humidifier. The oversight was my fault but keep that in mind. This does not have a misting function. If you put ice-cold water in the reservoir, the vapor does appear quite cooler compared to just cold water from the faucet. Not sure if that will significantly cool you during a hot day. Regardless, this is a great fan to accompany you while grilling or gardening. Love it.

I’m really happy with this cooling fan. My favorite features:
1) It is truly battery powered so you can charge it and unplug it and move it around very easily. I also love that it shows you a percentage of the battery life. Which is great!! It’s advertised to have a 3-hour use time with each charge. I haven’t fully tested that and would imagine, with the 3 different speed settings, that would vary based on the setting being used. I mostly leave it plugged in while using it in my office so it continuously charges.
2) I love that it rotates
3) I Love the little spritzer to put moisture in the air and provide a little bit more cooling air. I was concerned that the spritzer might be too much water and leave moisture on the table top or on me, but I have definitely not noticed that.
4) It is very quiet. I did see other reviews that stated it was loud, but for me it’s very quiet.
5) I like a little aromatherapy, so since we can’t put oil in it, I put some herbs (lavender/basil), behind the fan so it would pull in the scent It worked!!!
6) I think it looks sharp. I have the emerald green colored one.
7) The charging cord is USB and is long enough to be functional (3 Ft.)
8) Unlike another reviewer, I was able to tilt the fins in different directions to project the air. The top and bottom 1 or 2 slats don’t move, but all the center ones move together. You just have to grab hold of them and tilt. (Note: this would be a great improvement if there were a little dial or lever that would assist with that feature).
At one point, I put a much larger oscillating fan, in front of this one and pointed the fan/slats to it and it pulled the cool air from this one and dispersed it a little faster than this one by itself. That was for a larger room. In my office or bedroom, I’ve just been using it alone and it’s been working fine. It’s not super powerful like a full-size fan, but for the size and battery powered, it think it works great. I did notice that when you press the power button to turn it off (after cycling through the different speeds), it does not shut off the spritzer. So be sure you remember to press that button to turn off. I also have been putting ice cubes in the water which helps make the air even cooler.
I’ve been using it for about a week, during some 90+ temperatures, and it has been very handy. I’m very happy with it. As another reviewer mentioned, it did come with a small foam tube and I’m not sure what that’s for. I will probably play around with it at some point to see if I can figure it out. As others have said, the price point is a little high. (i think I see it listed currently at $49.99). Although it does have some nice features, it still seems a little high. If the price point were closer to $30-35 max it would be a much better value.

I was going to say air cooler is a stretch but it’s not even a stretch. It doesn’t cool anything. There’s a fan, and runs, but it just blows the air that’s around it. There’s nothing cool about it. Add water and it’s just wet air. It should be called a humidifier, that’s it. Nothing else.

Being from a dry climate, I am very familiar with evaporative coolers (i.e. “swamp coolers”) that work by blowing air over a moistened straw pad. It’s like licking your finger, then blowing on it. It’s definitely cooler than just blowing on your finger. I bought this for my camper which has fans, but fans can only blow around the warm air when it’s too hot and air conditioners require lots of space and plenty of electricity. Unfortunately, this arrived right as our temperatures took a dive. I was able to test it and it is definitely blowing cold air and mist, not just blowing room-temperature air. I love the oscillation feature but the air speed seemed a little weak to make oscillation over a larger area practical. I did get cold and had to turn it off. But by the testing I did, I suspect that when temps hit mid-90s and above, this may make an otherwise miserable sleepless night in the camper a tolerable one when it blows right on me as I sleep. But I doubt it will significantly lower the temperature of the entire room. It makes a moderate white noise–louder than my bedside fan but tolerable. Still, at $50 and given its light weight and relatively small size, it’s a worthwhile addition to the camper and should be great in Arizona.
