Leaks kerosene! Had to replace two of the “too small screws” with larger ones to be sufficient enough to even pick it up without coming apart. Wick could no longer be maneuvered with control knob after several uses. Overpriced!

Just bought it for this winter. Small size, light weight, fired it up and was surprised to see the wick burn perfectly.

So I have over 30 yrs experience with kerosene heaters including servicing them. This heater could have gotten a 4 star review except for damaged parts.
The heater was smoking like a tire fire when I first lit it using k1 kerosene. I suspected a mantle issue. I took it apart and discovered a bent mantle collar which didn’t allow it to fit flush to the wick base
That will cause uneven burn and smoke. If the manufacturer either packed the mantle separately or put a cardboard collar around the inside base all the damage would likely be eliminated. Heater is working as it should and a new heater shouldn’t be packed so poorly.

This very affordable mid sized kerosene heater is as efficient as they come! Heated a Large Yurt to 70 degrees for 14 straight hours with 2 Sq. Ft. of open venting(2x as much as needed) with the outside temperature sitting at 45-50 degrees with it on the LOWEST setting. No sinus issues. I cannot wait to use this in colder temps!
