Worked great until July . Now it works at max 30 seconds and turns off . I bought it because it says it’s 8000 BTUs but it’s not it’s only 5000 BTUs. I emailed the company haven’t heard back . Amazon is no help because obviously the robot that pulls it can’t read the number 8 . Not happy

Turns on when it wants. I’m either sweating to death or so cold I got seven blankets on at night. It’s a total waste of money and Completely ridiculous they can’t make an air conditioner that works properly. It’s not That complex I can buy a window air conditioner in it works just fine for $100 less

Works excellently and cools nicely. Need to find a good place to vent out all the hot air but in general it had helped keep me cool this far into this hot summer

This portable air conditioner works really well, almost better than our window units. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice sound, not too loud, and good for sleeping. We have been using it steady almost 24 hours a day for the last month and a half. The water hasn’t needed to be emptied at all. We do live in a dry climate, though. We had to put wood in the bottom of the window because the exhaust tube needs to be at a raised up angle, and we have a dresser in front of the window. The plastic window piece that comes with it can be cut to fit. We also cut a hole in it to put an outdoor extension cord through, so we could plug it in the garage. The exhaust air blowing outside smells kind of nice, like a new smell.

Only real complaints are the measurements for the included exhaust kit are not accurate and the fan never shuts off even when the compressor does. Had to cut about 4 inches off the window adaptor even though the page says it should have fit. They also need to make the pipe longer if they really want you to keep it that far from the wall.
But it cools great and is comparatively quiet.

I was hesitant. I doubted it would work. However, this little gem cools our entire bedroom. I didn’t like that you have to roll it to another room to drain it but we’ve been using it all summer and have yet to have to drain it. No leaks, noise is comforting to me. Works great.

It worked all summer so that’s great. The window plate part was too long for a normal sized window so I had to take it to a hardware store to have it cut down, otherwise the installation part was easy.

We live in Florida and this unit actually keeps the back of our house cool, while our 15,000 dollar ac barely keeps the rest of our house cool.
