The air purifier, RabbitAir A3 1000N Ultra, is very quiet, especially on low settings. Could tell a difference in living area with 1 large dog and 1 very furry cat, within the first day, ran on high.
I have Allergies to dust and pet dander, helped a lot.
Used about 2 weeks, so far.
1st filter, the washable one, had barely any build up.
I like Like the washable filter option,
There are 5 filters, and Hepa filter designed for pet dander, and like the longevity expected of 12 months to 2 years on the filter life.
So far, happy with purchase..
Negatives; very pricey, no rollers to move room to room and handles, and controls don’t lock. The cat jumped up and changed the setting and the buttons are at a toddlers reach.
Called customer service and emailed because owner booklet did not explain filter service, maintenance very well. They were prompt and courteous.

This thing is phenomenal, used to sear steaks and it would smoke the house a little, but since installing this I haven’t seen it smoke the house for more than 3 minutes

I’m a life-long airborne allergy sufferer. Name a pollen, it’ll give me the sniffles, sneezes, all the way to full-blown allergy attacks. At the urging on my Allergist, in 2011, I purchased my first Rabbit Air Minus A2. At the time I thought I was throwing away a lot of money on an overpriced device that won’t last long enough to see the value. These were not cheap back then, they’re still not cheap now.
And then I went on to spend the next 11 years purchasing new filters for the Minus A2 to this very day. It works, plain and simple, even 12 years later from initial purchase. The motor on the A2 is just as quiet as the day it was brand new … and it’s been running 24/7 for 12 years now!
Fast forward to 2022, live in a house now with three major rooms – 2 bedrooms and an open kitchen/living space. In addition, central air & heat was removed in favor of a mini-split heat pump system. This meant that I could no longer use the fancy 3M filtrete filters and move air around the house when doors are closed. For all the efficiency and saved energy the mini split system offers, it doesn’t do anything to improve air quality.
We made the choice this year to add two more Rabbit Air filter units, one for each room, to address the new reality at home. I wasn’t aware the A3 existed, but now that I do, boy I am glad it does. The Rabbit Air engineers took their experiences on their other products and made the A3 into an amazing unit on its own. The A2 stays in the bedroom and the A3s went into the guest room/office and the kitchen/living area. Some highlights:
1 – It looks great in black, and it goes with everything
2 – The multi-color LED strip is cute, and I love it even though it adds zero value to filtration
3 – It is very easy to service the filter with the magnetic hinges on the door
4 – It shows a red indicator on the panel & in-app when it’s time to clean the permanent filter
5 – It’s Wi-Fi enabled, easy to set up, and the app has what I need in it, including ordering more filters
I really didn’t think WiFi would add anything useful, given my experiences with the A2. I was wrong. The A3 is able to communicate the concentration of particulates in the air, and what size they are. It shows a visual indicator of filter life – no more guessing when the “replace filter” light is going to illuminate. I also like being able to set sensitivity controls. The A2 only had two options “auto” or “pollen” and had one blue/red LED to indicate air quality. There was a bit of guesswork to interpret what it meant, so
analyzing how I felt, had to be the measurement of success.
While I wish I could offer scientific testing instead of subjectivity. My opinion is the A3 works better than the A2. Perhaps the A3 is more aggressive at sensing odor or particulates. Perhaps the A3 makes better use of the measurements it gathers from its sensors. Perhaps the actual filters are somehow better in the A3. Maybe some, all, none of this is true — I can’t scientifically say anything but this: When I’m indoors, I feel fine. When I go outdoors, it’s a crapshoot. Come back indoors, shower, get into some fresh clothes.. and I’m fine again. Something is working even if I cannot be more specific than that.
For that reason, the way I feel when I’m indoors where two A3s and one A2 are running, I will be a customer for as long as they continue to innovate and keep me feeling as good as I can.

I’ll be the first to admit, I was hesitant about purchasing the Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N Ultra Quiet HEPA Air Purifier. It’s not cheap, and neither are the filter replacements, which you’ll need about once a year. With so many more affordable options on the market, I wasn’t sure this unit would be worth the investment. But after doing extensive research, I found that this is one of the best air purifiers you can get for your bedroom. If you’re serious about clean air and willing to make an investment, this unit is second to none.
First, let’s talk about its 6-stage filtration system. This is what makes the Rabbit Air A3 stand out from the competition. It tackles everything—airborne allergens, smoke, dust, mold, and VOCs—with a precision you won’t find in most other models. The germ defense filter is a particularly nice touch, adding extra peace of mind for those worried about bacteria and viruses. For anyone with allergies or sensitivities, this is a true game-changer.
That said, while the Rabbit Air A3 does an incredible job purifying the air in your bedroom, it’s important to note that it’s just an added layer of protection. To really maximize the cleanliness of your home’s air, I also recommend changing the filters in your HVAC system to MERV 13 filters. Together, the Rabbit Air A3 and a good HVAC filter system will give you unbeatable air quality throughout your home.
While the A3 can be used in larger rooms like your dining or living room, I’d actually recommend using it exclusively for your master bedroom. It’s a high-end unit, and if you want to get the most out of it, the bedroom is where it really shines. The air feels noticeably fresher and cleaner, and you can literally breathe easier after just a short time of running it. If you’re looking for options for other rooms, consider Rabbit Air’s MinusA2 for kids’ rooms or guest spaces. But for the master bedroom, the A3 is unbeatable.
When I first opened the box, I was immediately impressed by the layout and design. It’s clear that Rabbit Air put a lot of thought into the setup. Everything about it is sleek, modern, and intuitive. Setup was incredibly easy, too. Connecting the unit to my home’s Wi-Fi and syncing it with the app on my phone took just minutes. This is where the convenience factor kicks in: once you’ve got everything set up, it’s a true “set it and forget it” device. With my long working hours, I love that I don’t have to constantly monitor or tweak it. It just works.
One thing I did notice, which is crucial to mention, is to make sure you remove all the plastic from the unit and filters before you start it up. The filters are labeled clearly, so installing them in the correct order is easy.
One of the best features, in my opinion, is the app’s ability to track the filter life. It’s incredibly helpful to know when the filters need replacing, so there’s no guesswork involved. This feature alone makes the ongoing maintenance much easier to manage.
The biggest, most noticeable difference for us came when we closed all the windows and doors, letting the unit run while we were out. When my wife and I came back to the bedroom, we immediately noticed how much fresher the air felt. It’s hard to describe, but the air quality was palpably different. This is where air purifiers can sometimes be tricky—you don’t always know if they’re working, and it can feel like you’re gambling with an expensive purchase. But this was not the case with the Rabbit Air A3. The difference in air quality is obvious.
One of my favorite aspects of the Rabbit Air A3 is how incredibly quiet it is. In fact, I’ve used other air purifiers before, and none of them even come close to how silent this unit is. It’s so noticeably quiet that I sometimes forget it’s even on, which is fantastic for sleeping and general use. The peace of mind that comes with knowing it’s purifying the air without any disruptive noise is a huge bonus.
Another visual cue that really reassured me was the absence of dust and lint in the air. Before using this unit, we would always see particles floating around when sunlight came through the window, but now, the air looks and feels much cleaner. That alone makes me feel like this purchase was worth every penny.
If you’re thinking about putting this unit in a main area like the living or dining room, I wouldn’t advise it. It’s best suited for the bedroom, where you can truly enjoy the fresh air as you sleep. For larger, more open spaces, I’d suggest looking into different models or getting an additional unit that’s more tailored to those needs.
In conclusion, while the Rabbit Air A3 isn’t the cheapest air purifier on the market, it is absolutely worth the investment if you’re looking for the best for your master bedroom. The six-stage filtration, ease of use, the significant improvement in air quality, and the ultra-quiet operation make this a must-have. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This unit delivers on its promises and then some. I’m so glad we took the plunge, and I highly recommend it!

First of all, I have the Minus A 2 and the Air 3 units and love them. They work well, do their job and are quiet when you need them to be or when they are reading “clean air”. The one thing you need to watch out for is that on the Minus A2, all the controls are on the front panel. It also comes with a small remote. The controls on the A3 are on a beveled panel on the top of the unit and can be difficult to see depending on the placement height. It does not have a remote but can connect to a smart phone. Like the Minus A2 it can be wall mounted and can be mounted right side up or up side down. The front panel can be changed to either direction but again, the mounting height will affect your ability to read the control panel so you should check that before you install the mounting bracket on the wall. The installation on a wall is simple. It comes with a template for mounting the bracket.

On the lowest fan setting the machine is almost silent. I noticed a change in the air in our condo after about 4 hours of plugging it in. The same machine is used by other members of our family who have allergies. It is expensive and the filters are a little expensive, but it works well.

we used the A2 model at a few hotels in Las Vegas and really enjoyed the air purification (even without smoking in the hotel bedroom, it is still on your clothes and its brought back to the room, etc) and we loved how well it cleaned up the air in the room. So we bought the A3 for our large bedroom/top floor and love how it neutralizes smells/odors (we use the Odor filter) and can’t say enough. I will state that to get the most filtering for the rooms, you need to have it on level 3, 4 or 5. 3 is not too loud and thats the level we leave it at while sleeping with it in our room, but level 5 is what we use when we are cooking downstairs or when we are not at home. The app allows lots of manipulation. The auto feature works in a way where it cleans up the air in its vicinity then lowers speed to lowest… that doesnt really work the bestest if you’re trying to keep the maximum area clear. It works, there is no doubt as we can notice it as we walk from main floor up stairs to the second floor (where A3 is located). worth the value, for us, especially when BC or Alberta has forrest fires and it fills the surrounding cities.
EDIT: well, we love this model so much, we bought a second one for the main floor of the house. We are excited to install it and get same quality of air on main floor as our upstairs floor has had since we started using the A3.

After using it for the first night I noticed in the morning I was not coughing. It wasn’t just me – my old dog who hacks like an old man in the mornings also was not coughing. Now the only mornings we both cough is when I forget to turn the machine on. Oh, yeah, I have a multitude of dogs and cats, so no wonder we cough. This air purifier is incredibly quiet, the lights turn off in the dark, it works phenomenally well. I just wish it were more stylish, like the Oransi. I highly recommend it!

Nice look that does not interfere with my decor and, most importantly to us, is that it’s really QUIET! It should purify the air in my open dining room, living room and kitchen.

I just received this unit today. The packaging is very nice as is the unit. They thought of everything! I love that they understand the filter order can get confusing in years to come but they took care of that with labels! So far it is operating great, but I just received it today. I wanted to leave a review because the company definitely deserves it. I had to call them and called at 6 am eastern time, they answered the phone and were accommodating to my needs. To notch (so far)

Bought this for a cigar room with no other ventilation. I tried some cheaper options, but the did nothing at all in this smoke filled environment. I use an air quality meter for testing solutions.
The Rabbit quickly removes all visible smoke while I’m smoking. The air quality is still technically “unhealthy” but there’s no smoke and the air doesn’t choke me out as with other filters.
From the time my cigar is out, the Rabbit brings air quality to normal within about 5 minutes. And by 10 minutes, my pollution readings are all near zero.
In any normal environment, this will give you 0 level pollutants in the air.
It’s beautiful and simple to maintain as well.
Oh… I had a very pleasant experience with their customer support as well.

I love how quiet it is. I like the quality of this machine. It def is worth the extra dollars for the WiFi one and the newest upgrade. Easy to set up.
