I was looking to add another evaporative humidifier to my apartment. After extensive research I choose this unit although it was a new to the market and had few reviews. I am pleased with my choice. This humidifier is attractive to look at. It does an excellent job of keeping the humidity in the rather large room at the humidity level I set it at. It is easy to fill. (Be sure the fan is completely stopped when you add water!) It is easy to clean. The directions are easy to understand. All in all, good value for the money.

I bought this several months ago and was waiting to see how it performs. It is excellent. Even on high fan speed it is very quiet. The filters are very easy to clean by putting them into a small laundry bag and putting them in the washer with the rest of my laundry. If you want to dry them in the dryer keep them in the laundry bag to prevent lint from attaching to them. It runs continuously. I live in very dry Colorado in an 1100 square foot condo. It keeps the entire place at a comfortable humidity. I wash the filters once a week. The filters are removed by unscrewing the top of the plastic holder and pulling them off. I also unscrew and remove the water detectors so as not to damage them when washing out the container. (See photos.) I rinse the container out with soap and water and also wash the filter holders. There has been no calcium buildup on the filters that I can detect. The only issue is that the hygrometer is not accurate. I have read this in other reviews. I bought a hygrometer for $10 and set it nearby so I always know what the actual humidity is. This humidifier is WAY better than running an ultra-sonic humidifier and have white dust on and in everything in your house. After trying lots of humidifiers I highly recommend this one.

This is a well designed, compact and efficient humidifier. The humidistat works well. It’s quiet (including a silent/dark sleep mode), easy to fill and the filters are removable and washable. Control panel is bright easy to use and read. Remote works great

I love that this humidifier does not mist and that the filters are machine washable. Other humidifiers require constant expensive filter changes. Another huge plus is how quiet it is. I do not have to turn up the volume on my TV even when it’s running on high. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the RH sensor is not accurate at all (RH reading shows much higher than it actually is) which means the auto mode is pretty useless. However, I have the option to have it run constantly so I just do that. My dry skin has disappeared and my dog is itching much less in this dry, cold winter air (currently 10 degrees). Highly recommend.

As for the humidifier itself, we LOVE it! Works great, no gurgling at night with this one, with the remote you can turn off all the lighting for sleeping, the A+ & A- feature will auto adjust your choice of humidity levels and adjust the fan automatically as well to achieve setpoint, Easy fill, easy filter access, lightweight other than water, super super super quiet!, If you don’t thing the humidity reading is accurate just adjust up or down to your liking. Ours happens to match exactly with our Davis Weather Station indoor humidity level. All-in-all there has not been anything we are not pleased with on this humidifier. We even got three!

Since the fabric wicks are sitting in the water 24/7 the mode growth is silly fast. You have to wash these all the time to keep the mold away. If you don’t watch the mold it will fan the mold spores into the air of the room which is extremely unhealthy.
I really wanted to like this, and I did like everything about it except for this. But this is such a big deal it ruins it.

By far the best humidifier I ever had. Easy controls, high moisturizing output, quiet even at highest speed setting, small and decorative, uses tap water, capable to vaporize two thankfulls a day. I live in an 1100 sq ft bungalow without basement.
Have used it a couple of weeks and I just love it.
I have to drastically change my rating. First….. The Customer Service referral site does not work and there is no answer on multiple emails via the J&R website.
Second…. I need most times an indoor humidity of 30% up to 40% and often that is even too high. Most times I need 25% to 30% indoor humidity maintained. The lowest setting for auto control is 40% and the display changes to too low or defect as soon as it goes below 40%.
It is a fantastic humidifier if one prefers just an on/off operation but just forget the auto control and don’t need the non-existent so called Customer Service.
Major problem resolved. Communication problem was due to ongoing J&R website update, loosing all my emails and blocking Customer Care. Very pleasant communications established by supplier and full refund offered and declined by me. My rating back up even with the 40% minimum setting.

I’m am thrilled with how this humidifier is working. First off when I first received it I couldn’t get it to start. After I put a phone call in on a Sunday and left a message for help I looked closer at the unit and realized that the 2 metal connection rods had some plastic on them and it wasn’t making a connection. Once I cleaned that off it started up great. The next morning I received a call back from my help message and what a great customer service team and technical team they have. Dry happy with the company all around. The humidifier is nice to look at and it does its job great. It’s not noisy, it last sometimes longer then 24 hrs depending on humidity level and it is so super easy to fill and clean. And the BEST part is NO WHITE DUST!!!! I can’t tell you how happy that makes me feel! Highly recommend this machine!!

The humidifier was great while it worked, but did stop working.
The electronic (top part) of the device is defective. I’ve not had it for long. However, the customer service was outstanding! I did get a no hassle full refund which is very much appreciated. Thank you for caring about your customers and product. Awesome Business!
