This device arrived with no instructions or accompanying information. I am a little concerned about the safety of ozone for myself and my family, both human and nonhuman, so some assurance that this device is safe to use while we are present at home would have been nice. It also would be nice to know if it would be better if we were actually out of the house while it is running. Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to figure out how it works. It has two speeds, high or low, and it can be set to run for 30, 60, or 120 minutes. It is certainly audible, but not too terribly loud while running. I honestly can’t say for sure whether or not it works…but I *think* it does. It’s very difficult to determine for sure, but I feel like odors are less noticeable in areas it has been used. I like how small and compact this device is, and it’s simple to use. However, I also feel like the price is pretty high for something that I can’t say for certain is doing the job it promised to do, plus I expect more product information when I spend so much money (ninety bucks at the time of this review!) on a product like this. I’m not sure I can recommend this thing very strongly, but if you have the cash to burn and aren’t concerned about the safety of ozone, it’s not bad.

I got this because after golfing all day my shoes tend to smell bad so wanted to eliminate any smells and this actually works super well. It sounds like a fan on the slowest speed but makes the air scent free in some funky way.
There was no instructions so I just plugged it in and it worked.
It’s really small and is simple to use, so I’ll give this a few runs and see how it performs over the course of a few months and follow up!
This would be so nice after cooking something strong, ideas keep coming!

I don’t know exactly what the smell is that this creates, whether that’s what ozone smells like but it’s unpleasant for me. It’s somewhat effective for odors but you’re better off with a candle. This is cool functions with a wall plug for easy use but it’s hard to know what it’s actually filtering since it’s so small. The smell it leaves gave me a headache so I had to air out my room and I haven’t used it since. It works I guess but the ozone smell is like plastic and unbearable.

It’s tiny, it will make the area smell like ozone and it can help get rid of odor but it’s limited by its size. I actually have a few ozone generators and they are wonderful. If you follow ozone safety then you won’t have any issues with this one. Try not to run it when people or pets are in the same room. Frankly, for the price, you can get a decent-sized generator that will cover much bigger areas.

I have a small closet that just smells stale, i’ve done everything, including washing the walls, repainting with two layers of Killz primer underneath paint and nothing seems to help. I was excited to try this, however, I haven’t seen much of a difference. I’m not sure if my problem is some thing this unit can help fix? I did use it in my car and saw an improvement in there, I purchased a car that was previously smoked in and had it detailed and cleaned, but could still smell a faint smoke smell. I ran an extension cord and placed this thing in my car through the window. I let it run all day, setting a timer for every 2hrs so I could go back out and restart it as 120min is the max operational time.
The unit does not come with instructions. However, it’s pretty self-explanatory plug it in and press the button.

I love this thing. But it seems many consumers may not know how to use it properly, or safely. Ozone can eliminate odors, but it also cannot be breathed in for sustained periods – as it is a gas, and I believe officially toxic to humans (too much, like many things, is bad and can have serious health consequences.) The way to use this: is to press the timer setting you want (30,60, or 120 mins) and then vacate the area for that duration. and before occupying the space again – you must propery ventilate the space to get rid of the ozone. Once you safely ventilate…then you can re-occupy the space, and you will then have a cleaner fresher space.
The idea is you will get fresher air, similar to how it smells after it rains. But the “rain” in this case can be toxic if breathed in over long periods so you must vacate the area…to properly use this and get the benefits. The “after” ozone effect might smell a bit like after it has rained. but the “during” part…often smells musty – and can have different smells to different human noses. (and some people cannot smell ozone at all apparently.) I have allergies and borderline asthma, so I likely can smell it better, and am effected by it, more than most people. I could smell a very musty smell nearly INSTANTLY of turning this on. Thats how I know it was working. but too much of that smell – its a toxic gas – can lead to respiratory problems, like coughing and breathing issues, esp in those with allergies or asthma. And even a healthy person can develop adult-onset asthma if exposed to environmental stressors too frequently, this being one of them. So people must be safe, and do not breathe in ozone if you can avoid it, and you definitely do not want daily hours long exposure. This should be explained better with the product apparently, as consumers do not seem to know how to use it. (it says it on the package to not be used in an occupied room.)
With that said…once you know how to use it properly….it is a wonderful product. You get odor elimation, at the press of a button, whenever you want. (You just have to leave + and then ventilate.) Another reason why I like this one is its a bit mild, its 100mg ozone per hour, vs another brand I have is 300mg per hour. This one won’t be as powerful in odor fighting as the 300mg, but…it will be safer, so I would feel pretty safe leaving this on in a room next to me, as long as I had ventilation such as windows open and purifiers going. So its a bit safer to use in that regard, and will still give you odor elimination whenever you want. Amazing product – but must be used properly by people.

I was trying to use this in the kitchen to get rid of cooking smells. It put off a really bad odor when I plugged it in.
