Great equipment, works as advertised, super value. Multiple modes for just about any application. Can set on- or off-timers. Outside unit is a little bulky, but fairly light. Both inside and outside units are EXTREMELY quiet. The only downside is the typical poor English translation of the instruction manuals, but it is more comical than inaccurate.

Don’t waste your time. I was a returning customer and bought a second one. It is delivered in two boxes. I got one box and never got the second box. After the time it was to be delivered I contacted Rovsun and they told me it was delivered. After arguing about it I contacted Amazon, they took it over. It took one week but in that time I was trying to get Rovsun just to send me the second box to make the costumer happy, they refused to. So you can take the chance and hope you get what you ordered.

Installing was fairly easy but I do have HVAC experience and would recommend you seek help if you have never done any HVAC before. The unit is not complicated and cools down very quickly. Waiting to see how much the electric bill is but based on how quick it works and maintains at the lowest level after cooling down I can’t imagine it will be a huge cost. Much more efficient than a window shaker or any other indoor option. Wireless connected fairly easy and the app is straight forward.
Running the electrical was the toughest part and would recommend an electrician to get the disconnect box put in where you need it. You also need a whip to connect to the disconnect box and a wall bracket to mount it is highly recommended
All things considered this unit is cheap and works well! I’d buy it again as long as it lasts for a few years at least.

Installed it all myself (I have installed 7 so far). First time installing a Rovsun. It was straight forward like others I have installed. Took me about 2.5 hours. Vacuum pumped it down, powered it up, and VOILA! I am cooling my Master Bedroom and Bathroom and it is working great on low. Seems quiet enough….

The unit is able to get my small shed to 64 degrees when it’s 107 outside and cool my shed from 100 degrees to 75 in about an hour. Installation was about a 5/10 in difficulty and the instructions aren’t too good still but went smoothly. The only issues I have with this is that it does not shut off after reaching the desired temperature which can run of the electricity bill but overall for the price it’s works very good. I would recommend this if your in the market for a minisplit

I bought three of these rovsun units and one unit lasted for two days and blew a leak to lose the freon but figured for the price was easier to replace than repair and with COVID and a personal illness took over a year to install it then it lasted two days but the replacement is running fine and I don’t believe I can blame rovsun for it still I’m very happy with these units and would recommend them despite the problems!

I’ve had a few different brand units prior to this. They were all much higher priced, and this unit performs just as well. Will definitely be buying more of them. Shipping was fast as well.
