Economical and effective and reasonably easy to install. The visual effect isn’t super realistic but is cozy enough. I like the convenience of a remote and would consider the brand if I ever need to replace the insert in my other faux-fireplace.

You get what you pay for! The price was cheap so the flames look fake. But the heat works good. Its not too noisy but still louder then higher quality inserts. Overall for the low price its worth it to me i suppose. If I buy another it wouldn’t be this one though.

I bought this to replace a 23 inch AKDY Fireplace insert that I had placed in a standing bookcase. The AKDY lasted about a week before the left-side log stopped illuminating, then was intermittent?
The ROVSUN 26″ has similar features (almost identical) to the AKDY; however it is wider, and proved to be a better fit (perfect) in the bookcase, which measures about 30 inch (29 5/8″) across, with a 26 1/4″ opening (for those who are looking to do a similar placement?).
The faux fireplace-brick side panels (within the glass) are a nice touch that the AKDY did not have. The remote is larger than the AKDY and easy to use. The heater works as advertised and the flames are adjustable just like other brands. Love the timer, very useful before calling it a night. The only thing missing is the crackling sound of a fireplace (which if available at this price range, I have not seen), then it would be perfect. That aside, a great product so far.

I bought this fireplace due to the entertainment stand I purchased didn’t have one.. the dimensions fit perfectly.. the heat output is amazing and it has a timer and heat temp control and just a flame look as well.. if your looking for one definitely purchase this one.. totally satisfied

I scrolled through Amazon looking for just the right one since our other one stopped working but it was so old. I wanted one that look more realistic and I’m so pleased I chose this one. We love it it’s perfect, the flames are so beautiful, it just makes our living room feel warm and cozy it’s five stars and more for us

For the price you can’t beat it. Had it on in less than a minute right out of the box. Istill need to frame it out but it looks good just sitting the space. I’m super happy with my purchase.

We bought this to replace our failed unit in a TV stand fireplace unit. We received it and installed it right away. It worked great until we started to notice it acting up whenever we used our TV remote to change channels. When we hit the button it would turn the heater on/off each time. This was more of an annoyance until one day we were woken up to the smell of smoke/ burning electronics coming from our living room. We noticed the heater light was blinking and heater was no longer working. We unplugged it and pulled the unit out of the TV stand. There was a strong smell of burned plastic coming from it. We unscrewed the back and pulled the cover off to find the whole circuit board was burned up. Lucky for us it didn’t create a fire and burn our house down in the middle of the night. We contacted the company and they quickly sent us out a new one. We tried to send the burned up one back but they wanted nothing to do with it. We got the new one in and tested it out with the TV remote again and it did the exact same thing, turning it on and off again with the channel up or down button. I have requested return labels and refund for this purchase and still waiting on a reply back from the company. I find it very disturbing that they wouldn’t want it back to see what may have gone wrong with it. I won’t be buying this brand ever again.
