Our furnace was running nonstop during the arctic blast that we just had. After we got this heater, it helped give our furnace a rest and we stayed nice and toasty. This heater is a great help during power outages too. Definitely worth the money!

Great product but due to the rough handling by FEDX the box and the product was damaged and being 72 years old , I had to jump through many hoops to get it returned to seller . It’s a shame that myself at my age and the seller have to go through the problem caused by FEDX .

Purchased on 10/07/22, today is 12/14/22, it worked amazing up until about 2 weeks ago when we noticed the adjuster knob was tough and it was getting harder and harder to turn off- and finally today, shut off knob didn’t work, and adjuster knob freely spun, we put it outside as we couldn’t turn it off, husband had to use an extinguisher, and took it apart, the mechanism that raised and lowered the wick is broken, so it’s done. Pretty bummed because with the cost of oil it was a great way to have supplemental heat and heated our whole house (I’m not even exaggerating) it was an amazing heater, so I’m pretty bummed, husband said the mechanism was cheap sheet metal. Pretty disappointed.

Having lived 5 days in my house without electricity during February 2021 (Texas blizzard), I have spent time getting prepared for a possible reoccurrence because the Texas utilities have done NOTHING to upgrade their system. It is “off grid” from the rest of the U.S. so when Texas goes down, they have no one to blame but themselves…while Texans freeze to death. Any wonder that I wanted a heater? I have a propane heater and this kerosene heater so no matter how long I’m without power, I can stay warm. I also have alcohol gel cans for heating up pots/pans for making hot food or boiling water. I even have a manual large filter device for water if that becomes a problem – some people had water issues last February, but my water (I kept the faucets dripping) was not affected – no frozen pipes that burst. Anyway, I have purchased 2.5 gallon jug of kerosene and have this easy to set up heater. I’ll try it out first outside, but I am sure I’ll have no problem getting it started. Very sturdy and will definitely heat my small house.

Works great, gets pretty hot. Will help keep the garage warm this winter. Bigger than I expected, though. Assembly was easy, just make sure to follow instructions and allow it to sit for an hour after filling kerosene tank, prior to lighting for first use. This helps eliminate any smoke & soot.

Some assembly required, but easy enough to complete in 5 minutes or less. Worked right out of the box. Lit almost immediately, but if you haven’t used one before, be sure you play with the flame adjustment knob to understand how it raises and lowers the wick/flame. If it came with a thermostat rather than just a high to low adjustment, that would be perfect. But that’s just not how these things work. It’s either on or off.

The item arrived defective not due to shipping however the box was damaged it should have been packaged in another box but was shipped in the product box. The seller is very difficult to deal with on returning a defective item, byer beware.
