So the first one I got smelled so bad – very toxic plastic from the heater. No it wasn’t the filter offgassing. It’s burning wiring inside touching the heating element. Shark faq support for this issue says to let it burn off after a while, I tried for half a day / it was really bad, hurt my lungs, headache / and air quality got down to 60% according to the display – while it was “burning” off and it wasn’t dissipating (Yes I took the bag off the filter). Second one I got had no burning smell at all at startup, worked great until at 1am it was mimicking the worlds most annoying noise from dumb and dumber. There was something wrong with the rotation function. I turned it off and all went quiet – returned. 3rd one works fine – no smell! Purchased a black one at Best Buy and got the extended warranty given the issues with the other two. Love it so far! Wish the beeps were quieter or could be turned off. I also added some raised glow in the dark stickers to the remote so I can differentiate the buttons in the dark – otherwise the flat remote is impossible to see or tell what buttons you’re pushing.

Great fan / heater / purifier. Easy to use with a removeable remote. Oscillation shoots heat well from a room corner. Air quality level is shown on the main screen. Runs quietly and has good fan power. Also operates as a fan / air purifier for keeping our room cool in the summer. Sleek, good-looking, quiet, efficient. Shark makes great products!

I have pets and need this help with dander and particulates in the air. It is a great air purifier and will do an excellent job and purifying the air your home. We noticed the difference immediately. It is pretty sensitive as I live in a two-story home and it can sense changes if I spray air freshner upstairs, although it does take longer to purify than it estimates on the device, sometimes much longer. The fan and heater seem to work well, but much weaker than the air purifier function. A great purchase and worth the money if you can afford it.

I purchased this for a discounted, albeit still expensive price on cyber-Monday. I was dismayed that the interior box was significantly damaged and was worried the unit was also going to be damaged, but it appeared to be fine. I called the company (Shark) to ask if I should return it and to ask if an instruction manual was supposed to be included since one was not in the beat-up box. I could not get anyone on the phone, and no one returned my request for a call-back. For as much as consumers pay for this product, customer service should be better.
Now on to the unit itself. I love it. Prior to receiving this, I had an air purifier, tower fan, and space heater all set up in my room (1950s home), not very efficient. The all-in-one design was very appealing. I’ve now had a chance to use all the features, fan, heat, and air purifier; they work extremely well. The fan puts out cool air, the heat has been a godsend in the recent cold temps, and air purification has helped with allergies. The unit is quiet even at the higher settings, the remote feature is a plus and comes in handy when needing to make adjustments in the middle of the night. You can adjust the brightness of the displays which is also a plus.
The drawbacks…there has been a persistent plastic smell with the heat running. It has improved, but I still smell it when I turn on the unit. Am I doing something wrong?? Idk because we don’t have a manual. Also, sometimes on just the air purification setting, there is a higher pitched whistle noise, this doesn’t seem to happen while the fan and heat are on or maybe those sounds drown out the whistle sound. Besides these issues and the aforementioned issues with customer service, I am very pleased with this product thus far. If the price drops again, I may purchase the smaller unit for our sunroom.

This handy purifier does the job. It’s lightweight, and displays live changes immediately as the air quality changes. The remote is little ‘iffy’ at times as it doesn’t always work I’ve experienced. Other than that, decent afforadble good quality 3-n-1 air purifier.

Initially, I rated the Shark 3-in-1 Max Air Purifier, Heater & Fan 3 stars because the air quality sensors weren’t working properly—they always indicated 100% clean. However, I work in an old building where employees wear dirty boots and stir up dust, so I knew the air wasn’t always perfect.
Recently, the sensors started working correctly. In the mornings, they indicate air quality in the 90s and gradually improve to 100. When a coworker burned their food, the air quality dropped to the 70s and took about two hours to return to 100.
I love this device! It makes my office more comfortable by constantly circulating the air, whether it’s hot or cool. The heater is very quiet and keeps my office cozy. I also love the timer feature as I can set it for 9 hours when I arrive and don’t have to worry about shutting it off. When I hear it shut down, I know it’s close to my time to start shutting down as well.
Wish I would have ordered another one for home. The price has significantly increased.

Es un buen purificador si llegar a ser excelente, pienso que por el precio debería de tener algunas ventajas como manejarse con Alexa o que el control fuera con Bluetooth , si quieres un diseño discreto este no lo es , además de tener un rango de oscilación bastante corto , cumple con la función y es de calidad pero si se quiere algo más completo , yo ahorraba más y me hiba por el Dyson.

Heats great purifies air the only issue would be the oscillation i thought it was broken when it slightly pauses as it turns after running though a bunch of video its normal

Large sized air purifier that blows clean smelling hot or cold air. I haven’t had to change the filter yet but it seems to last long and be easy to clean / change. Has 6 speeds and is relatively quiet
