- Protect Your Ozone Generator: The A2Z Silica Air Dryer helps prevent damage from moisture and condensation, reducing risks of mildew and corrosion.
- Compatibility: The Silica Air Dryer is designed for use with A2Z Ozone MP-Series and Aqua-Series generators and connects via copper fittings.
- Maintenance: When the silica beads change color from blue to pink due to moisture saturation, they can be rejuvenated by baking them in an oven at 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 15 minutes.
- Usage Note: The Silica Air Dryer is not intended for high-pressure applications. Operate under a vacuum with the open end at 1 to 2 PSI.
- Recommendation: Purchase two Silica Air Dryers to ensure you have a spare available during maintenance, as bead reactivation may not occur at the most convenient times.

If using for ozone, do yourself a favor and plumb it through an air pump and run it on your ozone instead of the protein skimmer because you will deplete the media in a matter of days if its constantly sucking air through it. I have a 90 gallon system about 3 years old. I run a 200mg/hr ozone for only 15 minutes a night. 12am-12:15am. Hope this helps someone new to ozone.

What I liked most was the idea I had to utilize this as an air dryer for a pcp air rifle.
What I disliked was the fact that I chanced ordering this even though a few purchasers provided pics of cracked and broken ones.
Moisture and dust are pcp air rifles biggest enemy. Due to extremely poor packaging I received mine cracked as well. A simple bubble wrapped envelope and a tightly fitting cardboard box doesn’t cut it! The acrylic container seems robust but due to the poor packaging I am willing to bet returns and money loss ratio are astonishing.
Would I buy this again…yes we’re talking about $20. If #2 shows up cracked or broken I will seek a different supplier.

Using this on an AIO iron remover and it works great. Been a few months and maybe the bottom 1/4 of the tube has turned pink indicating it’s absorbing humidity. Unit recycles every 2 days so I’m pretty pleased. It gets my vote.

Product looks well made, but arrived with cracked cap. The box it came in did not protect the ends much, so it looks like it was dropped on the cap end during shipping and damaged it. But it looked well made so I am returning it and already ordered another.

I have a 125 gallon reef tank and had a cheap $35 red sea dryer. This one is 1/3 the price and way thicker plastic and more drier beads! Plus it has a sponge filter and a o-ring. For the price, any reefer / fresh water person (running ozone) should be all over this item!
Toss beads in oven at 250F until they return to blue (from purple)…back to new! LOVE IT

I use silica get to keep air dry in a bunch of laboratory instruments. Sometimes I just need a small in-line dryer to keep purge air dry and this item is GREAT. It’s easy to get the gel out and dry it again and the filters keep the gel from blocking the in/out ports. It’s a good size (a little bigger than I expected, which is nice) and it’s well made. GREAT PRODUCT and a really low price!
Note: you need to provide your own inlet/outlet connectors, they look like NPT fittings so it should be hard to find, but just FYI.
