I ordered this product to help purify the air in my teenaged son’s bedroom, so I really am putting it to the ultimate test.
I’m not really sure what I ordered vs what I received because the packaging had instructions for 3 different appliances in hard-to-understand English. The instructions had serial numbers to identify what you bought, none of which were on the product itself. So I think it’s a anion purifier, but could also be a UV sanitizer. Or an ultrasonic driver. Or a night light. I’m really not sure.
So I plugged in the appliance and turned it to the first level (with a green light). I’m not sure what the blue light level does (maybe stuns people?) – the instructions say “when using UV disinfection function, people should not stay approach the machine for a long time.” So … I’m not using the blue light.
I guess the room smells better; the boys were in it all day and it doesn’t smell horrific. So that’s good; just not the easiest product to use/understand.

This ionic air purifier is actually pretty legit, both in the way the “cool kids” say (or, used to say at least), as well as being a genuine product.
Unfortunately quite a few devices these days claim to be one of these ionizers, but are literally nothing more than a nightlight in an awkward case. And many of the ones that aren’t just a light are designed cheaply and dangerously.
This one, however, is designed safely both in that the carbon brushes can’t be accidentally brushed up against easily when it is plugged in to the wall properly, and the voltages present on the brushes do not appear to be referenced to the mains in any way. Them not being referenced to the mains means that in the event you do somehow come into contact with the brushes while it is operating, you should only get a relatively minor zap instead of a likely-lethal one that you would if it were referenced to the mains. (But I still urge you to be safe, as even a minor zap can still be dangerous for some people or pets! At the very least it would still be quite unpleasant…) I also confirmed that there is a proper high-voltage present on the brushes, so they aren’t just stuck in there to *look* like it’s legitimate.
In terms of its function, I unfortunately cannot provide any definitive/empirical evidence that it works, as there are a lot of factors that go into how much dust accumulates in areas over time (humidity, temperature, air flow/ventilation, etc). But anecdotally, it does seem to work! While I haven’t noticed an excess of dust collecting on the nearby walls and surfaces as one should expect with an ionizer like this (as they function by electrically charging the particulates in the air so that they are attracted to nearby surfaces instead of floating around freely), I have noticed a discernible decline in the overall dust accumulation throughout my house as a whole.
Unfortunately the instructions are not written very well, and are a little confusing as they expect you to know which specific “model” you have to know which instructions apply to you; yet there are no model numbers or anything on the device to clarify that for you. That said, this device cannot be simpler; plug it in, and hit the button. The green light means it is operating. If you hit the button again, you get an additional blue light that can be used to get a nightlight-like effect from it. Hitting the button one more time powers the device off.
I can’t promise this will change your life, or eradicate dust from your home forever, but it definitely appears to help!
