This heater may appear small but in fact it’s just a little shorter than a lot of the tower space heaters that you’ll find that have 1500 watt while on the high setting. But don’t let the height fool you because this heater does the job of much larger heaters in ample time! Because it’s a little more lightweight and portable it’s great because you can set it on your desk or on the floor by your legs to get warmed up while you’re at work and you don’t have to worry about having a big lanky heater there that you’re going to knock over on accident. It’s small enough to where it stays out of the way and does just as well as taller ones! It has the dual fans that you can use as a fan only without even having to use the heat. So I will definitely be using this year-round! It even comes with very easy to use touch buttons, it oscillates, and even has tip over protection and an easy to use durable handle that makes it easily portable from room to room or between home and work. I am super impressed with the consistent and even flow of heat that can be adjusted to whatever temperature desired. It has a great accurate timer, is flame retardant, is super quiet, has dual fans used to blow the heat and various directions to heat up any room super quickly.

The Friengood portable space heater is small, lightweight, and easy to carry around. It has a convenient handle on top that lifts up for carrying, or when stationary you can put the handle down and it’s unobtrusive. (I didn’t even notice it was there at first.) I’m always freezing in my house but I keep this little heater in my room so at least I have a warm spot to work at my desk. It’s also great when you come in from outside and want to warm your hands. The unit heats up quickly. There are two settings, low and high. On the low setting it doesn’t seem warm enough, but on the high setting I get hot pretty fast. When you turn it off, it has a cool down cycle that runs for a while and eventually blows cold air on you. Then I have to turn it back on to get warm again, ha. The warm air only comes out one side, so you need to have it aiming directly at you, although I’m sure some of that warm air raises the room temperature as well. The heater is only 6 inches square and 11 inches tall (13 inches tall with the handle up). You can set it on your desktop, side table, or I set mine on a stool behind me. This unit also has a fan setting if you just want some air circulation, so you can use it all year long and don’t have to pack it away in the summer.
UPDATE: I received this unit on 11/14/23 and it worked great at the time of my initial review, but as of 1/13/24 it doesn’t heat any more. It just blows cool or barely lukewarm air even on the high heat setting. I guess the heating elements must have burned out. So I’m taking off one star because it performs the basic functions as advertised, until it doesn’t – and only two months of use isn’t a very good value for this product. 🙁

This is not a bad heater, puts out the heat equivalent of leaving a hair dryer on. I don’t really see much difference between the 1500W and 1000W levels. I don’t think I will ever use it in “fan only” mode even in the summer, as a summer fan needs to produce a lot more wind. One missing feature is the ability for the fan to rotate or swivel, which I have on a different product and makes it a lot more useful for heating up spaces. For the $50 range, I don’t think it’s too much to ask to make these things rotate a bit, maybe even include a remote. Also they advertise this like it makes zero noise but that’s impossible. It is on the quiet side but it’s not completely silent or noiseless… let’s not confuse the difference.

Use this heater to warm up a 10×10 office space. It makes it nice and toasty in just a couple minutes. It’s easy to setup and has 3 different modes. (Low, high and fans only). It doesn’t have a tip over sensor which is a down side. But I’ve personally never had a heater with that sensor so not a big deal for me. Overall it’s a good heater for a decent price.

It works great as a small fan don’t buy this if you need a heater; it doesn’t get hot AT ALL.
