I bought another dehumidifier for my damp, old, and musty office. The first humidifier just pulled up mold and other irritants and blew them around. I could tell because I could smell the mold and I was having severe symptoms – headaches, dizziness, tingly lips and tongue. I returned it and bought this instead. It filters the air so well! I have smelled NO mold and have had no irritant related symptoms. It pulls the humidity out effectively, and I know because I have a humidity meter. The tank needs to be emptied every 2-4 days depending on weather and how damp my office is. It’s super easy to empty and return the tank. I’m a therapist and the sound is quiet, maybe the sound of a low – medium volume sound machine. I love this filter/ humidifier so much, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a dehumidifier.

I recieved this unit on Sept 4 and have had it running constantly since. It continues to keep the air clean and the humidity low. I can’t recommend this product more. If you’re looking for an air filter or dehumidifier, you should definitely try this one. It’s certainly worth it!
Side note, I’m not being compensated in anyway for this review. I haven’t been asked to write it. I seriously am just really happy with this filter. It’s been a serious lifesaver for me in my old musty damp office. I just think everyone should know how great it is.

This little thing definitely packs a punch and does the job well and consistent with it being on 24/7. With my use it is in the bedroom as I empty it every day but id say a full tank can reached in 2-3 day For safe measures this does have a automatic shutoff when it does reach full. The air purifier function also works well as eliminated any smell that was there before. Its not too big so don’t expect it to do your entire home but in personal areas its perfect.

TLDR: This dehumidifier worked great! Perfect for a standard one-bedroom. Helped lower my average humidity percentage from 70-80% to 45-65% depending on the weather. (PNW weather) Not much to say about the air purifier feature because I didn’t buy it for that reason but I cleaned out the filters once in a while and noticed dust being collected. I would compare the sound to a quiet portable AC but I tend to enjoy that kind of white noise so take that with a grain of salt. Would recommend it for smaller spaces that need constant dehumidifying!
I was living in a basement suite that would often grow mold along the window sill and the wall of said window. I wasn’t sure if it was because of a pipe leaking or just the elements of the PNW seeping in – one thing I know is that it did not help that my roommate had the heater on relatively high. Growing up in a very humid climate, I knew that the room itself felt humid and upon purchasing one of those humidity measurement devices, I found my room measured 70-80% humidity. After trying to see if DampRid would do the trick (spoiler alert, it did nothing), I bought this device! After a few days, it was able to take my average humidity percentage to around 45-65% (higher on days when it rained more) and my room didn’t feel as moist and stuffy. I will say, I don’t know how this fairs out for a one-time use type of situation but this was great to have on constantly. I didn’t quite mind the sort of “very quiet portable AC” sound it made because I enjoy that kind of white noise but if you want something perfectly quiet, then this may not be for you. I found myself emptying the water collector around once a week and it was fairly straightforward. It also automatically shuts off if the tank is full you just need to make sure that the little plastic piece that senses how full the tank isn’t wedged or stuck so it can properly signal the device to shut off. Overall, I would really recommend this product if you are looking for something to accommodate your more personal needs. I do not think this device can handle industrial-level dehumidification but it also was not meant for that. In my situation, I didn’t need a one-time “dehumidify” and then all done, so I can’t quite speak for situations like that but I had it basically constantly going anytime I was home. I also think this is one of the more aesthetically pleasing lower-budget options out there as well and I got many comments saying that they thought it was some multi-hundred dollar super fancy air purifying device (or speaker even) when it was really just a desperate attempt to keep my bedroom from growing mold. LOL Can’t say enough good things about it and this already sounds like I was paid to write this but it really helped me during a time of desperate need.

I ordered this after moving into an older apartment that relies on a boiler/radiator heating system and does not have ventilation. Since there’s no airflow moving in and out the apartment, we were having issues with the humidity level. Any moisture that evaporated (whether from boiling water, taking a shower, or hand drying clothes, etc.) hung around the air. Opening a window let the moisture out, but it also let out the heat. It wasn’t a round-the-clock solution. Each of the rooms are small, so I ordered this thinking we could use it where and when we needed it.
The product itself is easy to use and has a nice design. However, the speed with which it pulls moisture out of the air depends on multiple factors like temperature and humidity level. It was great for bringing the humidity level down from way too high (70+%) to 60% (the tank would fill up in just a few hours). It was not great at getting the humidity from 60% down to a more normal 40-50%–it could take days to fill the tank again, even in a small space like it’s advertised for.
In the end we returned it in exchange for a TOSOT 20 pt. dehumidifier. It’s strong enough to dehumidify efficiently no matter where on the spectrum the humidity level is, and it works throughout our whole home from a central point (no moving it around).
If you have central air and need something to help with minor humidity issues, I recommend trying this. It’s sleek, quiet, and moderately effective. If you’re looking to rely on a dehumidifier to maintain the air quality in your home, shelling out for a more powerful machine is worth your while.

It does a good job of collecting moisture out of the air. I was suspicious that the hepa filter would not be very effective but I ran it in a room and did an air quality check using another filter before and after and it did a great job !

I have two and am about to buy another after one of them stopped working.
I live in at “garden level” aka basement, and I bout one of these within weeks of moving in. I use the dehumidifier during the summer because midwest humidity is no joke. I use just the air purifier in the winter, and the low setting is the perfect white noise year round. One is in my bedroom, and the other moves from laundry/bathroom to the living room. The tanks fill up in like a week, and I can feel the humidity in the air if I am not around to empty it right away. The first one just randomly stopped working after three years of continuous use. I emptied the tank, and it was working. Then I came back from work, and it’s not working. When I plug it in, nothing happens. I like it, so I’m getting another.

I love this product. Its so whisper quiet on the low setting, and it truly collects a lot of water even in the small environment I have it in. The overflow switch works perfect to prevent any water spill/leak, and the tank is plenty large enough so I only have to empty once every 3-4 weeks for the space its in. Running full blast out in the open you may have to change more frequently.

It does exactly what we intended it to do. Great dehumidifier for our bathroom (old house with poor ventilation). Within minutes humidity drops 3-5% on average. We’ve had it drop 10-15% running it all day.
We have two dogs, the HEPA filter is doing a GREAT job at filtering out dust particles, dog dander and hair.
Very quiet on low, makes a subtle noise when in high (like a small fan) but isn’t bothersome by any means. Happy with the purchase!

Pros : Does exactly what its supposed to do. This is a good little unit if you have a small room to dehumidify and it has worked flawlessly. Its quiet enough on the low setting to run it all night if you’re not a very light sleeper. At the highest setting it gets louder but its still not what I would call noisy and it definitely collects more water. As far as air purification goes, its hard to tell but room has definitely smelled better ever since we had this unit.
Cons : This unit would be perfect with a medium setting, I feel there’s too much of a gap between the low and high fan speeds in terms of performance and overall noise level. I wish the leds were a bit dimmer. At night its a bit distracting.
