We don’t ever use our fireplace so we looked into getting a gas insert that can actually help heat your home. Well the 5k-6k estimated wiped out that idea. I discovered this fireplace insert and it is awesome. It meets our needs for ambience and looks really great in the fireplace. The different lighting options and effect really hit the mark. The heater does work, but you need to let the inside fireplace brick to heat up before it starts to throw good heat. The only issue is the power cord is about 6 ft, which just made it to the power outlet. 8ft would work much better. I would highly recommend this insert. You just can’t beat the quality and price.

It looks great and really provides ambiance and heat to our living room. The fire effect is pretty nice, and we are picky about that as we’ve had a different unit in the bedroom for years that looks great but it was discontinued. The warmth is not great, but it’s adequate for a small room. I imagine if you live in a very cold location, or have a very big room, it might come up short on heating. The remote works well and allows one to adjust the internal thermostat as well as the fire’s look and brightness. Easy to install, just set in your fireplace and plug in. I’d recommend it to anyone that has an empty fireplace, unless as described, they need high heat output.

I have an old fireplace that needs ceramic tile work. I found this gem on Amazon and this was an inexpensive, quick fix for my fireplace. I was surprised how realistic this insert looks. I didn’t buy the model with fireplace sounds, I used my Alexa and searched “fireplace sounds” and it works just as well. As others reported, the heater doesn’t throw enough heat to warm up a large room but I still like the feature. The remote is another nice feature, there are controls on the fireplace insert itself without having to use the remote. My remote works fine when I am sitting on my couch, I don’t have to get that close to the fireplace for it to turn on and heat. The flames flicker and the colors are beautiful, for a fake fireplace, it is really nice. It’s obviously fake but I love it!! I took this picture while it was still light out and it still looked cozy. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this fireplace electric insert . The best part is I don’t have to deal with after fire smell or ashes to clean! I highly recommend this product.

I’ve had this electric fireplace for a few months now. My husband and I were wanting/thinking of converting our wood burning fireplace to gas but the cost and disruption is just something we didn’t want to do right now. But we needed some extra heat in our living room without always having to crank up the furnace. This little insert fits into our fireplace perfectly. I wish it could put out more heat, but our living room is pretty big and even then, it does kind of take off the chill. It looks pretty nice with the fake flame reflecting on the back of the fireplace brick wall.
It was easy to set up, uncomplicated to run. If we had a smaller room, this would do a really good job of keeping it warm even w/o furnace turned up.

Well this electric fireplace is a really nice addition to our family room. The placement was easy in our fireplace, not too heavy and it looks great in all the color configurations and speeds. This room is adjoined by a dining room and entry way and the heat definitely takes a bite out of the room when its colder. Timer and thermostat work great. We knew it wasn’t going to get the rooms hot hot because of the rooms size, but never less we enjoy the ambience and happy with the heat element. It’s also pretty quiet.
We are very happy with our purchase!!!

It is wonderful, had an older one and this is a great improvement over the last one. The color setting, the sound are very nice. The heat is really good. We only use it to get the chill out of the air in the evening in our TV room, fireplace. I highly enjoy this, and all of our friends love the way it looks in the fireplace.

I’ve had it for two hours, and I love it! Not only does it fit in my 1925 bungalow fireplace perfectly… puts off some nice heat to supplement my radiators… but also looks fantastic. I can choose crackling noises… or not. I can change the color of the flames! I can run just the fireplace, or just the heater, or both.
I did notice that my cord got a little warm when the heater was on. I think this is normal, but I would not run it for long. Just to warm up the room. Then leave the inexpensive LED lights on for ambience. And all controlled by my iPhone with their free app. I’m not even going to put batteries (AAAs not included) in remote (hence my zero stars for that).
I could have chosen their less expensive model, but I really like the realism of the logs on this model. It was worth the extra money to me. Loving it!
