This unit works good. I had a couple issues with it turning on but not wanting to kick into cool mode. I reached out to the company for some help. Within 24 hours they responded and asked me to do some troubleshooting. They were consistently responsive and paid attention to my specific issues.
On this experience alone I would recommend this unit.

UPDATE DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Product stopped working. LIED about shipping out a replacement and just now I see my return was cancelled and marked outside of return window. DO NOT BUY FROM HVAC AND CAR SUPPLY.
THEY WILL STICK YOU WITH A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND STRING YOU ALONG WITH LIES TILL YOUR RETURN WINDOW CLOSES. Thanks for the money…..
July 27th Most expensive hot fan I have ever bought. It’s 91d Guess which AC can only cool by 1d. This POS just needs to last 2 days till another product takes it place and it can’t even do that.
Bottom line. Unit worked well for 3 weeks then fell on it’s face with water and electrical issues.
Ordered a replacement as water was EVERYWHERE inside the unit from the top down. Hose was in. It’s not a normal problem. The fans sent water everywhere.
Replacement was ordered a week ago. Shipping showed the dev date. Then showed it as shipped. Then the day before it said Dev by 10pm. The next day 10pm came and went. No AC unit.
Now it shows never shipped/delayed and will send an email when it ships.
Had I known it would be a week just to find out it’s not coming yesterday I would have ordered another AC unit and would be enjoying a colder room. Instead it’s 90d and no AC. Canceled replacement. Waiting for refund status and ordered another AC product.
For 3 weeks it worked fine but it wasn’t very hot. 80d maybe. When it 90d the unit started having issues till it continually started throwing water all over as it hit the fans. No water was coming out of the lower drain hole and the tube was in the upper drain. Very little water came out yet the entire inside of the upper fins and black tray were splashed with water. When I ran out of things to check the conclusion was this is a defective unit. Then the return saga began. I’ve never had return issues like this or seen shipping statuses like this.
The unit itself looks good. Easy to use and setup. The dial is a gimmick. It’s been set to 16c since day one and I’ve had no reason to change it so it’s pretty much a nightlight. A bright one..
The vents do a good job directing air out but they don’t really point up enough and they can pop out of their synchronizing arms way too easily. Feels good on the legs..
The remote is an afterthought. Simple enough but it’s pretty low tech. It can become out of sync with what the AC says and the screen is VERY hard to see without a light on. TV or display lights are not bright enough. It looks like the same internals are used in A LOT of other models so go with the features you like.
The dial is cool but in reality not used enough if it adds to the price.
A lot of the reviews seemed like free product for review deals. Didn’t catch that the first time.
Thing worked like a champ right up till it didn’t when the hot weather arrived.
I’m going up a couple hundred dollars with a higher end AC but this price was hard to beat when I saw it.
Oh.. It has handles so you can move it around easy but don’t push it from the top. A lot of weight is up high so it tips when rolling. Cord is long. The AC exhaust tube is standard. Could be longer. The window kit is just ok. None of them are really all that solid so I won’t fault this unit for it.
This would have been a 4 star review if it wasn’t for all the issues. It really did work well when it worked…..

This machine is wonderful. It produces cool air in a speedy manner. It doesn’t make that much noise and it’s super easy to install. It’s amazing.

This is a Perfect unit for small space it doesn’t take much room… It looks so modern and sleek design. Keeps the room so cool up to 300 SQF. Love how it has Remote control you can do all the adjustments while sitting down. It’s easy to assemble and move around. The air flow performance is great. Glad with my purchase was great choice for these hot days!

I was a little skeptical about this because of mixed reviews. So far it has been working pretty well. It cools off our small living room. On really hot days it doesn’t cool it off as well as we’d like it to but you get what you pay for.

I’ve had my original unit for just over a year when it started leaking really bad from underneath and mold was growing at a rapid rate. Got in touch with customer service and within 24hrs, I had a new unit on the way. Both units are doing and did their job. I live in South Louisiana so it’s very humid which is why I have it continuously draining into a 6qt stock pot. I empty the pot in the morning and in the evening.
My room is about 200sqft and it keeps it cool, not cold but cool. It’s not a quiet unit but it’s not loud to where it will keep you away. It sounds like a white noise. And word of advice, REGISTER YOUR UNIT! When you do that, you get a free 2 year extended warranty! I’m so thankful I did.

I’ll try to do a fairly short & sweet (for me) review:
Positives:
1) It’s cheap, and shipped quickly. That’s why I bought it. It was the least expensive version available (presumably it’s the same overseas manufactured, cheap portable AC unit you will find under various branding) to order that would arrive withinin 2 days while I wait for parts to arrive for the central AC unit.
2) It works fairly well. I’m using it in an upstairs room that I use as an office. The temperature in the landing outside of the room was 98 degrees yesterday at it’s hottest point, the office with the AC unit in it (which is 12×12) temp was ~79-82…so cooled by roughly 20 degrees. That’s not bad. This took a bit of work, which I’ll discuss in the negatives, but as far as I’m concerned that’s an acceptable result for what it is, and what it cost.
3) It’s small, relatively sleek, and relatively quiet. No, it’s not QUIET. It’s an air conditioner. There’s a high speed fan and a compressor running. It’s going to make noise. However, when on low fan it’s not so noisy that it interferes with voice coms (i.e. phone, zoom meetings, etc)
Now, the negatives specific to this unit:
1) It’s finnicky. Sometimes the compressor takes a while to kick on. Basically every time you turn it on, you wonder if it’s broken. Kinda wish I’d have paid attention to the other comments about this before I ordered, but it was kinda an emergency and it got here quickly so I’m cool with it. So far, it eventually works….but since it’s August I doubt that will be an issue since the thing will be running 24/7 anyway. Hopefully it doesnt blow up.
2) The remote is useless. It needs a direct LOS to the top of the unit to function. So if you have it elevated (which you will need to do if you live in 90 degree weather, so that the air actually blows ON you) and are seated? Wont work at all.
3) It’s somewhat tricky to “aim” the airflow. Basically you can configure it to blow mostly straight, or 45 degrees to the right. If you order this design, try to put it somewhere that it’s convenient to turn the unit entirely when necessary.
Negative to the design of the type of unit:
1) Portable air conditioners are just inferior to window units. I knew this going in, and would have just gotten a window unit if my HOA was not a PITA. If you are considering the two types, go with a window unit unless there is a really good reason not to.
2) Single hose portable air units are even less efficient than dual hose portable units. If you are ordering for a more permanent need than I was, and live in as hot of a climate as I live in, and can’t do a window unit? Make sure it is a dual hose model.
3) INSULATE THE EXHAUST HOSE. Let me say this again: INSULATE THE EXHAUST HOSE. This unit did not work at all until I ordered an insulated sleeve for the exhaust. Works pretty well with that 30 dollar addition, so if you are ordering this go ahead and add a 6″ hose insulation wrap to your cart.
Summary: Not upset with the order, but not particularly happy with it. 100% Derek Smalls, luke warm water opinion on it.
